  1. NCrawler, I went ahead and added your new graphics file on my downloads page. They are nice, and I figure it would save you a lot of e-mails. Lorak ------------------ http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/combatmissionclub Lorak's FTX for CM <--Proud member of the Combat Mission Webring
  2. NCrawler has made a really nice graphics mod set for Combat Mission. It changes some of the German Symbols to their more historical counterparts. The File is avalible on my site in the downloads section. It is a zip file so download it, unzip it and take a look. 6. Stuka, From what I've read the tracked motorcycle was used mostly in north africa and the russian front. I'm sure it was used some on the west front, but as far as numbers... I just don't know. 9. In all fairness, CC4's maps are lovely. Its just the game that is pretty much unplayable. Lorak ------------------ http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/combatmissionclub Lorak's FTX for CM <--Proud member of the Combat Mission Webring
  10. just an idea... Since SL had fixed maps and units changed to reflect battles.... If anyone just has the SL maps done, I'd be happy to have a SL/ ASL map download section on my site. That way people could just DL the already made maps and just add the units to them. Good idea? worthwhile? 11. I've decided to add a rating scale on the scenarios that I post on my site. I've decided to go with the 5 point scale (seems what everyone is using). 1-poor 5-must have. Instead of using a form, I ask that you just send me an e-mail. Just give me an overall score and your comments on why you ranked it this way. I'll keep track of them and post them. **For those sending me their scenarios** In the e-mail please state weather or not you would like your e-mail posted with your scenario. (I'm not providing address without permission). Also: please state if you would like the reviews I recieve fowarded to you. Does this sound like a good idea? ** for people with CM sites ** My hat is off to you. This is my first web page ever. I must say honestly that I didn't think it would be as much work as it has been. It is fun work though I just wanted to give a thank you to all of you that are supporting this fine creation that BTS has spawned. Thank you Lorak ------------------ http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/combatmissionclub Lorak's FTX for CM <--Proud member of the Combat Mission Webring
  12. aka_tom, I have one scenario I made on my site that is set in Nov 1944. It is a small village that contains 3 small bridges that you are trying to control.. I've gotten some feedback on it and honestly I would rate it a 2.5-3.0 on a scale of 1-5. If you decide to play it I'd love to hear your comments. What could be improved, what you liked, ect... 13. Great news Kump!! I guess that finishes all of us here in NC. Lorak ------------------ http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/combatmissionclub Lorak's FTX for CM <--Proud member of the Combat Mission Webring
  14. Well. Manx, Thats my policy too. (thats why I've got the three) I will state that if anyone wants to post any of "My" scenarios, thats cool by me. **people that want to submit scenarios** I think I speak for all here when I say the following things make it much easier on us. When submitting a scenario please send a zip file containing the following. 1. the scenarnio.cmb file 2. a screenshot 3. a .txt file with a description. ( or just type it out in the e-mail. things like a brief overview, weather, date, ect... thanks in advance Lorak ------------------ http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/combatmissionclub Lorak's FTX for CM <--Proud member of the Combat Mission Webring
  15. I agree. I had my little scenario tested by 4 of my pbem buddies. They liked the map, units had to be changed once or twice. But I finally posted it. The one thing everyone needs is feedback. Thats why I always ask for it. It will improve your maps in the future. Give you some ideas on what people would like to play. It all comes down to numbers. 3 or 4 opinions are good.... but the more you get the better. You just have to be able to accept the critic. Hey I got one e-mail to day..... "ur site sux." guess its back to the drawing board Lorak ------------------ http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/combatmissionclub Lorak's FTX for CM <--Proud member of the Combat Mission Webring
  16. Thanks Pathfinder. If you get around to playing mine, would you mind giving me some feedback? I've gotten some, most of it ok. But I would like to know what improvments to make next time. Thanks Lorak ------------------ http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/combatmissionclub Lorak's FTX for CM <--Proud member of the Combat Mission Webring
  17. Manx, I agree with you that there will be to many for one place to house them all, There will be a crap load of them and each one has to have its on page, briefing, and picture to be done right. As for rating them... I think that can be a good idea if done right. I'm thinking of just adding a a small form on my page where they can pick the scenario, give it a # rating and post a comment. I'll just add a Rank spot with the scenario that reflects this. As you know this could be a pain in the butt. So realisticaly I know I could only do this for the ones on my site.( I know your laughing since I've just started and only have 3) I figure I might give this a try. If it later becomes too much to handle....... 18. The new scenario is from Wild Bill. It is a small battle called "hills are for heroes" taken from an episode of the Combat tv series. TeAcH also sent me his Schijndel Road scenario and it is avalible too. Thanks to WIld Bill and TeAcH. Take care. 20. Umm, I haven't done too much with CGI before but I'll see if I can add a form to my scenario/operation page. I could only manage this for the ones I have on site. But it would allow you to Rank the scenario on a scale of 1 to 10. And make some comments about it. There would most likely be a day turn around from your submission till your comments are posted though. I'll try to get something coded up tonight or tomarrow.
