  1. Thanks Grunto. I appriciate the Play by play you e-mailed me also. I tried to design it to play well from both sides. I think on a map like this the AI is at a disadvantage. I leaned more for it to be a PBEM scenario. In that aspect i believe both sides are pretty equal. I've also uploaded it to TGN's Scenario Depot. I love what they have set up there. Real easy to download stuff, and more important..It is real easy and quick to rate a scenario, and see how it is rated. I'm not sure who set up the Cgi for that site, but I'm impressed. 2. LOL! Max's new pic is funny as hell! Hey Matt, question. After you get the TGN scenario Depot the way you like it, will you add a link to it from your page? I know there is a link in your news section. I was wondering about a permanent link. have a great weekend! 3. It is as usefull as an unarmed jeep. you can transport some guys with them, But they get taken out real easy. They are there for more of a historical reason. But... If you can keep them under cover, they can wisk some support units into position really quick. 4. You guys actualy get to say "YES" while playing? Mine is more like; "this can't happen!" "damn!, damn! damn!" "NO!, NO!, NO! "STOP! Not like that!" "TURN!, TURN!" "NOOO!" sigh..... "crap." Or something close to that... God I love this game. 12. I want to thank everyone here for taking the time to play it and for the e-mails I have recieved. After reading the e-mails, following changes were made. German forces were given a slight bump. Trees and buildings were added on the allied side to balance cover, and all 3 bridges are now stone. Thank you. 13. It's got to be celtic. That music just drives the blood, and also helps me think. Slow and sad, or fast and happy, pipes are lovely too. It is stange listining to the haunting sounds of someone like Enya while watching buildings blaze... 16. Sorry to bother ya'll. but I have a few questions. I've recieved some feedback on it and just wanted to ask a few questions if any of you here have played it. **spoiler info** * * * * * * * * * * * The out comes I've recieved have seemed to state that it is balanced. German players say they can't keep their armor alive. Allied playes say the same thing. From the allied side some have ask for a couple more houses on their side of the river, to balance out the cover. Changes I'm considering making are adding houses to the american side, and making all the bridges stone (didn't realize that some tanks can't cross wooden bridges). I believe this will give the map more flexibility. For those that have played it, I'm asking if this sounds about right. Or if there are other changes you would like to see. I've only recieved a handful of reviews and would like a little more input. thanks for your time. 19. Just my 2 cents guys. I find the only real slow part is the enter screen. I don't wait for it to load. I just click where I know the picture is suppose to be. The main site seems to load fine for me. Lorak ------------------ http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/combatmissionclub Lorak's FTX for CM <--Proud member of the Combat Mission Webring

  22. Rommel, allied tanks can go thru bocage. They were fitted with gear that would allow it. German tanks lack this attachment and therefore can not go thru bocage. 23. yes, defending across a river is ideal. Your enemy is going to be restricted to using bridges (great bottleneck) or attempting a crossing by boat(very leathal). This puts the defender at a major advantage. Lorak ------------------ http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/combatmissionclub Lorak's FTX for CM <--Proud member of the Combat Mission Webring
  24. Actualy, I don't see anything wrong with using your hometown for a map. I live in the foothills of North Carolina, and I can tell you that a lot of the land around here would make some great maps. Rolling hills, rivers, gully's, fields, farms, and scattered houses. It just depends on where you live. Good land is good land. Likewise if someone decides to do a map in an area full of wide streets and strip malls. He is well.......
