Umm What I find funny is that Germanboy is worried about costal flooding with the global warming. Seems the major problem will be, not the poles melting and flooding.... but the poles melting and adding to much fresh water to the north atlantic. This will cause several problems, less-saline, thus the ocean is more prone to temparture changes.... but more important this will kill the nice atlantic current that keeps the british Islands and the europian coast livible at all. So I would be worried about the europian deep freeze than I would about flooding. usually Guy, and It is much the same today. Is that Regiment tells the Batallion CO's what they want done. "We want you to attack town A" It is then up to the batallion CO on how to do this. Batallion will look at his map and give bief orders to his company commanders "A company this is your route of advance." Company CO then tells his Platoons where he wants them to go. Platoon sgts then decide how they will get there. Long ramble.... basically you get a general objective, that gets broken down more and more levels. But it is up to each level to decide how they reach thier objective. CMBO is pretty good in a lot of ways. but knowing where and what are your guys are doing is always something that will be unrealistic, but something every computer game needs to be playable. I actualy Love this new section. If you are playing verses another human and choose this option, It adds a Ton of FOW. Did he go all armor? all infantry? ect.. You know how many points he/she had but now you have no idea of what they could have actualy bought. No more of that " Well I just killed one stug, so at most he could have one more". Now you just never know. It also kicks out every argument of anything being even. The game gives you the points... spend them how you wish. Lovely. Was out searching last night and came accross a neet site if you happen to want to have video and voice chat. Using this site and thier plug in you can see and hear upto 8 people I believe. Cool for video confrences. You can create and moderate your own rooms also.
