This morning it is raining very heavily in New York. I was driving in to work and happened to tune in to a radio station that was playing music from the 40’s. I was listening to the Andrew sisters singing “In the mood”. I immediately went into fantasy mode. Driving down the French countryside trying to escape the advancing allies. Yes, I am a product of the 60’s and no I did not smoke anything this morning. I imagined Echo, Blacksabot, Capitistdoginchina and Mike hot on my heels. The distant echo of explosions, rubble, smoke and the retreating German Army. Soon I will have CM and hopefully my Panthers will be able to turn the tide. sniperscope

If we as a collective group want to see BTS succeed then gang we need to organize. We need a website where someone has the time to have the following. A registry of players. The registry should include the following: A- Name of the player B- Players Username C- Email address D- ICQ number E- Country of Origin F- Preferences as a player (axis, allies etc.etc.) The registry can be kept in excel format. I volunteer to keep the registry up to date. All that has to be done is for someone to provide the space on his or her site. As I update the file, I will email it to the webmaster. I also read somewhere that over 2000 downloads have occurred for the CM demo. That is nowhere near enough. If there are 2000 of us then how about those 2000 trying for 1 week to get three new players to download the demo? We have about 2 weeks before the game comes out. Somehow we all need to be proactive, regressive and unrelenting to get the word out. Everyone’s opinion both positive and negative is welcome. Nothing is certain my friend. I am involved in a PBEM game where I had the upper hand and was winning the battle. In one turn everything went downhill. A little luck,some great stratagy from capitalisdoginchina and the next thing I knew I am losing and trying to regroup my forces. I simply love this game. sniperscope

Moon: I played SOW, and I enjoyed it. But for me, CM is my squad leader. This game has caused me to put all my other wargames away.....for good. However, will I get SL? Yes I think I will. One one one house to house fighting is something I love. Hopefully, someone will crack the code and make the right units for us. sniperscope

Hasbro had their chance to have CM. They blew it big time. As far as I can tell CM has just about everything we want. Hasbro's SL will have background info on the men. So what? Who Cares? Letters from home? Give me a break. Also they are not going to include certain types of squads for some reason I can't remember right now. I do remember my re-action (are they kidding??). CM is going to blow EVERY OTHER LAND BASED WARGAME RIGHT OUT OF THE WATER. A new standard is being set. sniperscope

Good Morning Gang: We need to continue to keep the interest level high as we wait (as much as 2 weeks) for the release of our great game. For myself, I am currently playing 3 PBEM games against Capitalistdoginchina, BlackSabot and Cyberfox. (All games are CE) I am also playing a PBEM via ICQ against Echo. All of these players are very good. Some of the games I am losing and some I am just holding on. Last night Echo and I played for 3 hours via ICQ. What a great time we had, back and forth, strike and counter strike. Plenty of close quarter fighting, bullets flying, grenade throwing, death everywhere. These battles will continue……til the end.
