Ted got a reaction from PIATpunk in And Why Is There No Merchandise Anyway?
Reading the CMSF2 homepage I came upon this post by Steve….
“We've been very happy with the level of support shown for all our CM2 products. Some pay for themselves a little bit better than others, but in the end it works out well for everybody. I think we should put out T-shirts and bumper stickers that say "Have You Hugged a CMBN Player Today?" 😛”
….which made me wonder “Why is there no merchandise?”
After seeing many shows, comedy, music etc. most have merchandise for sale, or “merch”. I understand they could a good piece of their income from.
So Battlefront, why no t-shirts, coffee mugs, hats, magnets, jackets etc. etc. etc.
(Maybe it would help CM players recognize each other on the street.)
I for one would load my closets and desktops with all things Combat Mission.

Ted got a reaction from PIATpunk in Best way to install all games on new computer?
I'm not sure if this has been mentioned here or is relevant but if you go to "My Account" from the battlefront home page it will show you all your purchases and all the License Keys.

Ted got a reaction from Bulletpoint in Sherman vs Churchill
Looking at a quick battle in CMFI, and while comparing tank battalions I see that the Churchill III and IV are valued at about 280 points each and the Sherman III & V's are only 190 points. (both set to equal parameters, Veteran etc...). Just wondering, do you feel two Churchill's are worth 3 Sherman's in an AT role?

Ted got a reaction from rocketman in Merville Battery
I visited there back in October...
http://www.thefewgoodmen.com/thefgmforum/threads/normandy-tour-day-3-british-6th-airborne.21082/
The excellent book I referenced before going was David Howarth's "The 6th of June" later editions was re-titled "Dawn of D-Day"
There is an excellent chapter on Ottways attack on the Merville Battery.
You can either view it or down load a free pdf here:

The British Airdrop starts on page 29.
Enjoy!
