More bugs... The british tank destroyer Archer is backwards. It starts set-up backwards. When ordered to move, fast, or hunt. It goes backwards. In reverse it goes forward. Must be a Polish tank

More about CM on GoneGold *Speaking of Values, I have been asked by many readers to get a deal on Combat Mission, a New Release that is an on-line only purchase at $45. As many of you know, I live by the saying... "It can't hurt to ask. ". While I do not know anyone within the company, I can certainly ask if they would offer a discount to Gone Gold readers. The worst they'll say is "No.". No big deal. I wouldn't get your hopes up on this one. It's an incredible long shot. I suspect they would be quicker to work with a site that focuses on war games but perhaps they want to reach out to the novice war gamer. I know that if they work with Gone Gold on a sale, it won't be for awhile because I received an e-mail letting me know that they have already SOLD OUT of the first printing! I'm not sure how long it will take to burn the games and start shipping again. There are still some games that are released at this price level, so it's not unheard of. I do want you to know, while 45 bucks sounds a bit steep, the game is worth every penny. I'll be sure to let you know how I made out with them when I hear back. I haven't sent out the request yet(It may not hurt to ask, but it takes a bit to get the nerve up. ;D) but should later today or tomorrow. I won't be making a post if the answer is "No" so if you don't hear anything by next Monday, you can safely assume there won't be any Gone Gold specials on this game

I let the Comp pick the units and I got 37mm Flak gun Hetzer Tank Hunter 150mm inf Gun 4 half tracks 1 company of Volksgrenidiers (sp) I was on the Defence and lost (first time vs comp) it was AWESOME!

The very first time I played VOT it was with full Fog, even forces , without reading any spoilers. I played as US as recommened. It was a total cake walk I did not even use my 60mm Moters. I achieved Total victory only losing one tank. A Germans it was much harder, I barely achieved a minor victory.

It requires three emails to comlplet a turn so. DarT1a DarT1b DarT1c DarT2b ect. it works great or start with file1 and increase bye one with each email.

The cool thing about CM Germanboy is that you can DYO battle. So whip an all infantry battle and have fun. Or If you want to play one blind against someone else wait for me to whip one up for you. I have this idea for a big infantry battle in a city with several companies on each side. No offboard arty, morters only, and NO TANKS or other vehicals. If anyone interested email me directly.

Will people with the Mod be able to play people without the Mod????? Or to restate the question are the two versions compatible or incompatible with each other???? It would kinda suck for to different incompatiable versions of CM to be out.

Three StugIII crest a hill. Behold what do they see 4 Shermans. The three Stugs fire nearly at the same time. 3 Shermans die. The 4 rth shortly there after. One Stug lost to gun damage. War is heck. I have never read a a tactical book in fact this is my first war game. And except for the very first game of CM I played. I have never lost to the computer. Now people on the other hand. Well I am 3 outa 5. I wish people would quit complaining about minor details like mustashes and black uniforms. Hmmm to stop the rambling post.
