  1. Bill what program are you using for the screenshots. Love the arrows and what not. Thanks sir.
  2. Coop would be nice but a Pause for TCP/IP games is amazing..... Although I am concerned in the write up that you have to request a pause from you fellow player? Would that no cause an unnecessary delay? Why not allow people to pause right at that exigent instant that something has change on the map etc. Obviously you can't abuse the pause or no one would play with you. Hate though having to ask your opponent to approve the request sees onerous in a fast moving game IMHO......Or do I have it wrong?
  3. OF course we sound like Yanks. After all most (of the English Speaking) initially came from America. We just kept the faith as Loyalists. After the "rebellion" of 1776 you kicked us out and seize all our lands and property. We both butchered the English language just us a little less so haha.
  4. Pausable Real Time is it I think. Hey I have been waiting for years for anything in this regard.....Better than nothing and probably a lot quicker to implement then going back to the awesome WEGO system.
  5. Thank you guys so much for this feature!!!! It has been a long hard road for many of us MP's but it will be worth the wait. Any further on how it would work? Fairly self explanatory I take it? WOW!
  6. •Pausable Realtime TCP/IP Mode I LOVE YOU CHARLES!!!
  7. Hey guys came a across these little gems.....Thanks to all that help us with our OOB needs, thought I would share. Let me know if these are copyrighted or not I will remove. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/9e7dww7hp6i4xqa/LEnQJJjZF1 Folder is Wargamer ps. Does anyone have some of the tables (like the CRT) for the board wargame "The Battle for Normandy" by GMT. Have the game but missing a few pieces. GMT is going to force me to buy another rather not
  8. right ok.....The author of "The Battle of Normandy" wargame though clearly indicates stug's as the main unit within this Battalion. The game also has Marder counters but this is not the silhouette. Is there any chance that these were stugs on June 6th? Your right though on the net I also came up with Marders. hmm strange. Thanks for the info ASL. Those were the days with all the milk boxes of rules for ASL. Ah the memories
  9. Our "The Battle of Normandy" operation board game has been a blast over the last few weeks. Quick question.... Have a unit with a counter with a stug on it. The unit is identified as 200 StuG Abt (FZ 18/39h) of the 21st Panzer Division. It has a Battalion symbol for size but it can also indicate "group". It has a 2 step (as opposed to a 3 Step full Battalion). Thinking this would be the Combat Mission Stug Battalion missing a company? Thanks
  10. Ok June 6th, Canadian Sexton Battalions 2 questions if I may.... 1) Where they of the 105 mm or 88 mm version? 2) I have sources indicating anywhere from 12 to 24 sextons in a Battalion (Cdn Regiment) Thanks
  11. Can anyone recommend a large map open/farmland for an operational game we are doing. I would think at least 1.5kmx1.5km. Could be a scenario or quick battle map. Thanks guys
  12. Can one exit maps? The old days with Cm1 maps allowed it.....how about CMBN. Can one set up exit zones. I did note you can indicate friendly edges but you cannot leave that map edge can you?
  13. They have it out for the ipad! Wow I am off to D/L!!
  14. Great guys. Appreciate it. Would your average CDN battalion on the move in Normandy have 4.2 '' motors "normally" attached to it. Or would they be assigned via division for special circumstance rather than a few being parceled out to each battalion (off board of course). In your opinions are the organic Battalions that are listed in CMBN about equal in lethality? I know there are small differences, but in essence a Battalion is a Battalion whether it is Brit/Yank/Kraut?
  15. OK will push them down to the Battalion. I wonder now with the heavy Motors (in the Macgine gun Battalion)he is now complaining about should also be pushed down to the Battalion? I wonder when the German commanders are going to start wanting items pushed down from regiment etc to their respective Battalions. I don't really see that much difference between the German or CW battalions. Our Cdn commander seems to think because he would normally be assigned such assets as seen in the Machine Gun Battalion he is at a disadvantage when facing a Vanilla German Battalion. Do you think his argument has merit? The CW forces seems very flexible with 20 Bren carriers I would think it certainly could hold its own. I wonder don't play QB's but what is the point spread between a German/Yank/Brit battalions? Thanks for all your help guys!
  16. Ok how does these formation work. Our operational game Cdn commander insists that each CDN Infantry Battalion was assigned a 4 gun heavy machine platoon from the Machine gun Battalion? Is this correct? Why have a Battalion machine gun unit if it is in essence organic to the infantry battalion in the first place?
