  1. The beginning of the end has started. Ithikail_AU thought some folks might like what this screenshot shows. I agree with him. Also, I made a change to the TO&E page last week.
  2. Yes, Seelow Heights is one of the standalone battles in the module. ASL Veteran is the scenario designer.
  3. @MOS:96B2Pis making a scenario and this is from the briefing along with some screenshots to go with it: OBSTACLE BELTS: The US will often employ obstacle belts to slow or channel attacking Soviet units. The obstacles belts generally consist of wire and mines. They are approximately 50 meters deep with four rows of mines and two rows of wire. They may be up to 600 meters long with the ends tied into restricted terrain. The obstacle belts are covered by both direct and indirect fire. Sometimes a lane is left through the mines to be used by scouts conducting reconnaissance. The wire is closed but the lane through the mines is still open. Engineers can locate the lanes allowing friendly vehicles and personnel to breach (cross) the obstacle belt. Location of obstacle belts will change with the AI plan. Engineers at an obstacle belt. The screenshots were taken on scenario author test so all the mines are visible instead of just the located mines.
  4. Well.......It's finally time to shut this one down. We're close enough to release that an update thread will soon be moot and there are a couple of other threads where comments about updates and such are appropriate. Also, @Andreas3 you've crossed a line.
  5. OK. We'll make sure to hold off until then. I need a nap. So, that fits in perfectly.
  6. Nothing with the release timeline has changed since pre-orders opened.
  7. CNBM is different than the others. CMBN is "self contained". The Game Files folders are in the main directory by default.
  8. The Game Files folders and their contents must be on the C drive in the Documents folder. That is where the game "looks" for the things in those folders. Otherwise you can install the main directory anywhere you want. I should mention that I know of a couple of people who successfully put the Game Files folders somewhere other than the Documents folder. I don't remember how they did it but I wouldn't recommend anyone try it anyway.
  9. Done as in you can download it in the link from my post in this thread: https://community.battlefront.com/topic/138414-reworked-battle-pack-1-campaign-is-available-for-download/ As with the late arriving campaigns for CMSF2 I have uploaded it to the patches page. Hopefully, in the next patch (whenever that will be) it will be part of the insatller.
  10. I didn't take it personally and have a pretty thick skin about that kind of stuff. Plus, you were right.
  11. Sorry it took so long. It was you cursing me out that put things over the edge.
  12. Do we have to or do you have to? The answer to both questions is no.
  13. Nope. It will have to be manually placed for Steam. We haven't done any Steam patches yet but I bet when we do it can be slipped in there.
  14. Imperial Grunt has cleaned up the Black Sea Battle Pack 1 campaign "Charge of the Stryker Brigade". It is now available for download on the Patches page Please remember, this campaign is part of Battle Pack 1, so Battle Pack 1 is required.
  15. If so it would be because it's yours, Albert Einstein's and Michael Caine's
  16. I'll be very unhappy if Fire and Rubble isn't out before then.
  17. That was an unintended side effect. That was the intended effect.
  18. Here was my response to the question about how long we've been working on the game. It answers the question. I will take credit for it. I think Bil wanted it in the 2019 Year End Bone but ultimately came to love the idea of the surprise. Bil or Warren can tell you for sure but here's a funny-ish story. It's also why I pushed so hard for it to be kept quite which is another story. So, I'll take a minute and tell both. Maybe a year and half ago. I was looking at the Beta forum and I saw the Cold War forum. For whatever reason, in the back of my mind I had thought that I had seen it many times (and I probably had) but I never gave it much thought. In the back of my mind it was a long dormant legacy forum of a game that was never made. On this particular day I also noticed that a recent post had been made. HHmmmm...I wonder why anyone is posting in there. That is where I saw all of the hard work that Bil and Warren had been doing. Their plans, their research, campaign ideas, you name it. My mind was blown. At that time I think only 5 or 6 people had access to the forum. Beta testers didn't know it existed until they were invited in. When they were brought in their minds were blown too. Which led to this............... I don't know how many people here remember the release of CMFI. When it was dropped on us testers we had no idea that anything like that game was being developed. The first time the public heard about was when pre-orders were opened. It wasn't a hard sell to HQ, Bil and Warren to recreate that. Especially with this title. We knew this was going to blow minds. I'm an old timer in these parts. I think when we had numbers attached to our forum profiles I was number 64 or somefink. I have seen people ask for this since back then and we wanted to make it's announcement something special. I think we accomplished that.
  19. Whenever I'm in command heavy losses have to be acceptable because that's all I ever get.
