In the reveal presentation it was said that the neural network core brings "the benefit of supercomputer preprocessing" to the PC, which is plausible and a pretty good explanation of what neural networks are good for. I was under the impression this was another "cloud" "performance enhancer". Now that I'm home and have checked out the video... I think it'll be quite some time until we see this.
