  2. Sorry, another stupid question I'm sure... but I'm confused anyway... In this hummer there is a driver and a gunner, and a scout team...Are they one in the same, is the driver and gunner the scout team? Do I dismount the scout team from the vehicle or keep them in the vehicle to use that laser designator? If I have them exit they can't take the designator with them, right? That's assigned/attached to the vehicle? Any advise on using these scout teams in this modern era? Thx. Screens are to big, to see what I mean there in this post: WOW, WTH you do with this forum Battlefront... can't even paste a link... if you need screens to understand me, it's in the RTS section of the SimHQ forums... thx.

Playing the last mission, the one that's a big armor battle... but I can't move forward at all, every vehicle gets lased, pops smoke then retreats... even my recon and forward observers... so what/how am I getting lased and how do I counter that in game, not by popping smoke, but moving forward to battle. Thx.
  4. Excuse my ignorance, but how do you know what ammo to take with what AT system when you "acquire" weapon platforms from vehicles, and how much do you take? That's a big list that pops up when acquiring. Thx.
  5. Sorry for my ignorance, but was wondering about some of the armor commands in CMRT... I have a platoon of tanks lined up at the edge of a wood line... what does "HIDE" mean armor wise? Will they turn off engines, will they back up into the wood line, will they auto-engage when they see a threat? and also... should I have those hidden armor units unbuttoned, or keep then open? Thx.

  7. Got my pre-order in... but any news or info you can share on the new engine, whats news, what it can and can't do? I believe CMBN had a v2.0 upgrade, this is version 3.0... "and it comes with all new game engine features."
  8. ahh, thanks... now what to do with all these infantry units preparing the assault.

Got a issue I hope you can enlighten me on... how can I get my machinegun teams to proper deploy at this railroad crossing, so it can cover the infantry assault across that danger zone into the woods a far... they either are too exposed and easily picked by enemy snipers or to far back where their fields of fire are not correct... I've tried adjusting to the milli-foot but it seems to be either or, not perfect... any ideas, maybe a different command then move or hunt?

What I thought would happen was that I put a lone AT team in a nice ambush location in a PBEM game, sure enough the enemy sent a tank there, while hiding I faced towards the enemy and it drove by nearly 50 meters but my AT team never did anything, now i have it up and running to catch up to the tank and shot it in the rear... Aren't they suppose to engage when in range, even while hiding...or am I wrong on something? thx
