spearman_uk
Any news on CMSF for the Mac. This thread seemed to imply there would be a version made back in 2008. Has that idea been scrapped?
Schrullenhaft
You'll probably have to wait for Steve or Moon to make an official statement on this...
YankeeDog
Ya, it would be nice to get some closure on this. At this point, I've pretty much assumed that CMSF for Mac is dead, but it would be nice to have an official word. Mind you, if BFC does find the time or resources to port CMSF over, I'll gladly plop down full price again for an OSX version.
Collingwood
Mind you, if BFC does find the time or resources to port CMSF over, I'll gladly plop down full price again for an OSX version. +1 I can see CMBN being a gateway drug for OSX people.
Buzz
I have delayed upgrading to Lion and purchase of CMBN Mac till all the DRM issues in Lion are fixed. CMSF port for Mac would be appreciated.
YankeeDog
One more bump in hopes that someone official will notice this thread and give a definitive answer. Again, given the length of time since release, I conjecture that the plan to release CMSF for OSX has been "indefinitely postponed". But it would be nice to hear it from the horse's mouth, so to speak...
Guest
As far as I know, it's not dead. I'll ask Steve to come in and give an official answer.
YankeeDog
Well, if confirmed, this would be an unexpected piece of good news... I look forward to confirmation. As mentioned, whenever you guys get around to it I'll gladly plop down the money for an OSX port so that I can get my modern fix without having to reboot.
Buzz
Thanks Phil. Hope Steve says CMSF OSX is alive and on its way to no reboot clients.
G. Smiley
CMBN for Mac made me come back to Combat Mission after a long hiatus (since getting my first Mac). If CMSF is released for Mac I'd buy it.
