  1. Change vertical sync to ON and high priority also. Game runs better that way.
  2. Third battle going on and the taste of blood is in my mouth all the time. Hellish fight going on. These couple of scenarios what I have played in this campaign say, that the other ones must be good also. These kind of battles show the intensity and potential what CMBN has to offer. I personally thank you for this campaign. Keep up the good work, and I encourage you to make some serious **** in the near future also! All the best and merry pagan anti-christmas to all of you. Ruutana
  3. Yes, the file names tell at most cases what they are, but I am a mac owner, so cannot explode the files and see what is inside them. Well, I have downloaded exploded version of the SFX soundmod (what doesnt work on mac, at least mine) and it replaces most of the sounds so basically the problem is solved that way.
  4. Tank you for these mods. Keep up the good work!
  5. And the flamethrowers. H & H combat presented in some form could be cool too, but these are my daydreams I quess. brrrrh. Daydreams about flamethrowers and hand to hand combat?
  6. Hello, I am planning to gather sounds from here and there and trying to compile soundmod for my taste. Only problem is that I don´t know what sound is what and so on, so does anyone have the whole soundmap available?
  7. There is problem with mac version. I tried with other sound mod, (Oddballs soundmod which has the same folderstructure and it works.) Oddball, you made the mac version from your soundmod, how it differs from the pc version? This is really odd, I have used SG_CMBN soundmod (which is released before the actual full game was out) and it works also without any problems. I have also edited it myself, with no errors. So, what is wrong with Mac CMBN+SFX soundmod? Any clues? Also, it would be happy to hear does other mac players have the same issue? I have to try modify the files and compile own soundmod soup tomorrow and look if the SFX sounds then work, but I cannot assure that they work and would be happy to play with full SFX sounds, beacuse they sound, even played through player, MARVELOUS. Cheers, Ruutana
  8. The soundfolder would be the thing. Thank you in advance!
  9. Sadly, the latest uploaded .brz file does not work on Mac. I can hear startup music and good sounding background ambience but there it is... no vehicle sounds, no gunfire. So, please upload the exploded version so I can experience this masterpiece (?)
  10. Could you also upload exploded version so, we, Mac users can also mod and play with them? Thanks, will give comments about the mod itself soon.
  11. Downloading now... I believe will downloading a chunk of gold packed in .rar format. Reporting experiences soon.
  12. Just stop being wimpy and give us those Flammenwerfers. (halftrack version could be COOL too.) There was flamethrower crocodiles also, eh? I am sure the burn to death animation is easy to make and we don't need ultra-sadistic presentation how awful weapon flamethrower is. We just need it´s power to the battlefield, that´s all.
  13. Hi all, I could do this myself, but I am mac owner and therefore can´t access inside .brz packed material what has been uploaded to repository. So, what I ask, is that could someone explode this file for somewhere to download? Actually, I am interested about explosion effects, nothing more. http://www.battlefront.com/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=314&func=fileinfo&id=868 I am trying to compile some kind of sound mod, and looking some good explosion sounds. Hope there is the ones.
  14. Hello, I bought Pc version of the CMBN and now changed to the Mac computer. Therefore I have one question: Beacuse I have PC version purchased, can I download Mac version for free or do I have to buy the game again? Cheers, Ruutana
  15. Just curious, have you edited the screenshots or how did tou get anisotropic filtering for cmbn?
  16. Released back by then when she was only a demo... works fully, of course, with full version of cmbn. http://www.battlefront.com/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=314&func=fileinfo&id=1113 But hey, this actually is good sound mod! There is no explosion replacements (added own and modified some from other mods to create more immersion) but the small arms replacements are very good. There is echo in the rifles...and the mg42 sounds good. Actually, this mod sounds most realistic what I have heard for cmbn. No, it is not made by me, just promoting this forgotten pearl. Stagler (author), you still here? Wanna develop this little more? Echo weapons more, for example?
  17. Yeap, look at this: System Requirements SUGGESTED: Operating System: Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7 Processor: Pentium IV 2.8 GHz or equivalent speed AMD processor or better Video Card: GeForce 6800 or Radeon x850 (256 Megabyte VRAM or better and must support 1024x768 or higher resolution) in OpenGL Sound Card: DirectX 9 compatible Sound Card System Memory: 1 Gigabyte or more RAM Hard Drive Space: 4 Gigabyte Other Requirements: DVD Drive (not needed for download version, but recommended for backup) The game does not work in a virtualized environment (virtual machine) Ok... I have 4-core processor, 4 gigs of ram, radeon 5750 and still seeing shamely low framerates and laggy screen movement. No antialiasing and still I must play in medium quality with troops that I can call this MARVELOUS game playable. Goddamn! Please, please optimize the game! What kind of hellmachine ya need that the game will run smooth? Anyone has? Please report. Antialiasing on also?
  18. Dunno if these are suggested before: 1. Make Alt+S binding work with option "Ambient off" 2. Make Alt+T binding work with option "Remove all treetops" 3. Where is our Hand to Hand? Did Allied or Axis use flamethrowers in normandy? I want some barbeque! Yes, it is brutal, but if we wanna go to maxium realism, as you BF developers indeed do, let´s roast them! I remember when i played H&H in CMBB and we fought in medium sized map, a dense forested area. Combined arms meeting engagement with no armor and the primary objective was in the centre of the map, on narrow dirt road inside large, dense forest. I played as axis, and we engaged ourselves near the primary objective. Firefight was dense, but both of us did not take the first step to assault towards the road. I sneaked my flamethrowers under the firefight near the end of the forest, just few meters from the road, gave them firing arc to road and hid them. Also had one hidden heavy 42 waiting proper moment. As you can quess, my friend launched massive sovjet assault towards the road and my flammieboys did as they were told to. You can guess what impact it made to the attacker. Mg nailed the escapers. So many dead... There was much more happening also, but the flamethrowers were turning point in the fight. Yea, you got the point.
  19. Hi, You mean those what were in your great soundmod? If so, I could put them up on a next Suffer release, if you permit. Actually, those screams you have smells like soldier of fortune I. I dont never forget when using flamethrower on those poor fellas...
