finalcut
Why does nothing happen as far as destoyed vehicles continuing to be active as far as secondary explosions,or lingering explosions.I guess what I am trying to say is why do rounds in a destroyed vehicle not continue to go off several minutes after the vehicle has been taken out?I just think it would be kinda cool to have a vehicle burning for 4 or 5 minutes, then "WHOOOOOOMP" another explosion. That would add alot of flavor to the battlefield .Is there a mod for this or are any Mod masters planning on this? And yes,WHOOOOOOOMP is the best I could do about putting a big ass explosion into text.lol.

If you have the Marine module, try blowing up BMP-3s, they do both WHOOMP and WHOOMB!
finalcut
I'm kinda looking for the occassional WHAM or POW or ZING.Kinda like the old comic books I would read as a kid.Sgt rock was the reason I joined the Army.Well, that, and my Dad threatening to kick my ass if I didn't do something with my life, but mostly,it was Sgt. Rock.
LongLeftFlank
If you have the Marine module, try blowing up BMP-3s, they do both WHOOMP and WHOOMB! They are the guardians of the sacred words, Nee-WHOOMP! and Neeeee-WHOOMB! (Nee! Nee!)...
c3k
Play as the Syrians and use destroyed BMP's as shelter for your troops. You'll find out how often they cook-off, how long it takes, and how many casualties it will cause. All very cool to have modeled. Western vehicles don't cook-off as much due to the fire suppression systems they have installed. Ken
stikkypixie
Oh and it also depends on how much ammo they still had left when they blew up.
ZPB II
It happens really often if you pay attention. In a recent battle one of my few precious M1 Abrams lost most of it's optics suite next to the secondary explosions of a BMP-3. Lost the tank in a catastrophic kill to a hail of AT-14s to the turret side, no survivors.

DaveDash
Slight Spoiler: . . . . . Mission 01 of the Marines campaign can sometimes have a static T-62 on one of the objective OPs. I usually wait right to the end before moving my units onto that OP for this very reason.
Alan8325
I often hear them cook off and then look around the map for a vehicle of mine that got hit by an RPG.
