Elmar Bijlsma
...will they be better then QBs in Syria? With all due respect to the talented map makers and AI planners, the current CMSF system of QBs isn't very good. Any chance it gets improved in CM:Afghanistan? If the CM:N system could be bolted on to CM:A too, that'd be great. Or not, as it's an unrevealed system of unknown value. Which is another thing I'd like BFC to talk about.
Paper Tiger
What an excellent question. I'd like to hear the answer to that one too.
Moon
At this point, the answer is "no comment".
panzermartin
Well, I guess if they had the new QB system in, they would be huge headlines about it in "features". So my bet is its the same broken CMSF QB generator. It is too big to keep it as a suprise. EDIT: Hmm the above Moon's (no) comment is interesting though
Gryphon
I guess, in other words, it may or may not be in
Nicdain
I am wondering how water could make into the CMSF engine...
Echo
Same old tired cm2 engine with a crappy mission generator? I won't buy that.
panzermartin
I am wondering how water could make into the CMSF engine... From the screens it doesnt look like the proper water promised for CM:N but rather some impassable "water" tile like marsh, etc.
MikeyD
From the way it sounds, the current QB system might work better for CM:Afghanistan than CMSF. One assumes the TO&E structure isn't quite so crazy. No more all TOW humvee units. No more crazy Marine specialized units. Half the problem with the CMSF QB system was that the Armed Forces were remarkably uncooperative in how they set up their TO&E structure.
Vergeltungswaffe
Same old tired cm2 engine Battlefront has truly spoiled us for a long-timer to feel that way.
