t34577685
somebody said that CMSF can't run well on ATI card. But my new notebook will choose ATI card. My question is :will it support ATI,WIN7 64bit,I7 CPU?
Sergei
I think the simplest way to find out would be to load the demo to your notebook and see if it explodes. BFC takes no liability for any possible injuries...

My question is :will it support ATI,WIN7 64bit,I7 CPU? Yes. Yes. Yes. I'm running a desktop PC with a 5850 on WIN7 64 bit with an i7 920 processor displayed on a HD 24 inch monitor. Runs seamlessly. Noba.

Sgt Joch
somebody said that CMSF can't run well on ATI card. ugly rumour spread by the NVIDIA fanboys... ATI 4890, catalyst 9.12, win XP here. CMSF (and CM:Normandy) works and looks beautiful with no issues/artifacts.
Schrullenhaft
Make sure your Catalyst driver is 9.10 or newer. With some laptops you may have limitations on what drivers you have available. Some may work with the drivers supplied by ATI, others MIGHT be able to use an INF modding tool such as DH Mobility Modder. Otherwise you may be limited to what the laptop manufacturer provides. Some people have reported issues with Catalyst 9.12 ('vertical sync' enabling causes the game to crash), but you may experience different things.
