donnieitaly
So can we fight the Yanks? <g>
Redwolf
I should be possible, and probably pretty interesting, to play blue on blue U.S. versus Brits. It'll be a little shaky to give "balanced" forces if that is what you want since you can't easily replace the thick-skinned U.S. non-tank AFVs but still.

donnieitaly
Well I was kidding really but if we're going to fight who wants a balanced scenario! It's 1776 again chaps <g>
Webwing
Is there an backstory to it is is it simple labeled as a fantasy? This scenario is from the great George Mc. From what I remember back story is something like this: Post war, Syrian army units are being trained by the US with US equipment. They switch sides and align themselves with the insurgents. Thus it is Syrian guys with US hardware vs UK. A lot of fun I have to say! -
Sequoia
Oh, okay. I thought it might be some Dr. Who alternate Universe type of thing.
MikeyD
I could imagine an argument about whether to call it "soccer" or "football" escallating. There was the four day "football war" between Honduras and El Salvador in 1969 over a World Cup qualifying round. Considering that most Americans don't know what a World Cup qualifying round is, I can imagine some Manchester United fans taking grave offence.
donnieitaly
Well I'm not a football fan but have we lost sight of something about alternate enemies? THIS IS A GAME - None of it is true. it doesn't matter who fight whom. Much more important is that the British are all b**** SCOTS!!! :-)
