jon_j_rambo
1) Somebody edited the file, thus not original. 2) You're using the "patch", gives this for first time play. At least I was told that.
The K Man
Received the turn, and played with no warnings or errors. The only thing I noticed was that the file that went out and came in was only around 940kb. I thought there was something wrong from the get go, since the other games (PDE, WAW), the file size was about 3 mb on turn one, and then about 2 mb for all others. Game appears to be functioning okay on my computer. I can only assume that the files have been compressed more when sending the email turns. (Not complaining, it certainly is much faster.) Great game so far.
The K Man
Is there a patch out? I'm still on 1.0, and assume Arado is as well. Don't use the editor, so haven't changed any of the files.
Blashy
What JJvR stated is correct. If K Man started the game he will not get the pop up. There is a small fix that Hubert put out for some people receiving a crash. Arado probably has that. File size is correct K Man.
U8led
I got that same message on my first allied turn for the only pbem I have played/playing. Rambo is the axis player. Everything seems fine though.
Hubert Cater
Yes I suspect Blashy and JJvR are correct and the small fix that I posted a few weeks back is likely responsible for this message. Otherwise under normal circumstances it would of course mean that the campaign had been edited by your opponent. Can anyone confirm that they downloaded the beta patch fix and then received this message before I investigate further? Thanks! Hubert
arado234
Hubert I havent downloaded any patch atall.I dont get the message anymore either.I dont know what happened.Im figuring its K Man has some Jap.spy in my upper command.
The K Man
I haven't downloaded any patches for Pacific either. Haven't edited any of the campaign either. We both loaded the game via the mail CD. With the state of the Japanese, in 1941, the Jap spy is not a bad idea. They can certainly use all the help they can get. Hubert Cater
You know it might be related to the change in the date to 2009 as there are some date checks on the files... I'll look into this more for the first patch. Hubert
Nupremal
I got this too but then the games worked fine, so I didn't worry about it.
