pute01
I would like to be able to hover with the cursor over the squads load out and actually get a tag of what weapon or ammo it is I'm pointing at.
ForceMultiplier
Being able to split teams while the unit is inside a vehicle would be useful.
Shadow Stalker
I guess I'll add my 2 cents Just read the thread, some great ideas here. In regards to the recent "one sided" debate perhaps thermobaric grenades or warheads could be introduced to the Syrian side to "balance" the perceived force discrepancies. I don't approve of promoting our enemies propaganda but these devices are rather effective for anti armour operations. (RIP to all our fallen coalition men and women) http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=133_1248034763 http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=d8a_1180675064 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RKG-3_anti-tank_grenade http://www.defensetech.org/archives/001969.html +1 to medics and female soldiers. Some other useful ideas Electronic communications jammers EMP based weapons (think IED use and placement) Molatov Coctails for insurgents - creates fear lowers morale Road Blocks such as burning tyres, burnt out buses or cars More Flavour objects - traffic lights, street lighting etc Weather - storms, lightning, snow, hail - affects morale thus fighting ability. Signs of civilians - clothlines, civilian cars, potplants in front of houses, toys Regimental off map assets- Cruise missles, UAV's for spotting Combat Engineer Support to repair damaged vehicles Civilian and Military Amoured and un-Amoured Ambulances Realistic Tracer Loadouts
LongLeftFlank
1. Ability to copy-paste rectangles of terrain (including everything in them) within and between maps.... even better if we could also rotate them 90-180-270. 2. Gates (doors) in tall walls 3. Generic (moddable) flavour objects 4. Car, van and bus flavour objects
c3k
Let me repost this, which is from this thread: http://www.battlefront.com/community/showthread.php?t=87092&highlight=scenario Scenario Organization in CM:N -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gents, I'll resurrect this idea: we NEED a way to sort the scenarios in the next game. Right now we can only look at the alphabetical listing of scenarios, with no idea of what type of battle is hinted at by the name. Nor can we tell if we've ever played that scenario, or how we did. Here are some suggested sorting criteria (adjustable/selectable by the user): Date Size, map Size, forces Force type Opposing Nationality Objectives Length Region Have I played it yet? Did I win? Did I lose? Did I finish? (How many restarts did it take? Kind of tough with savegames.) Best score/record? Review score by others (is it a popular scenario or is it a dog?) Time of Day Environment Weather Conditions Terrain Types Reinforcements Support: Artillery, Air Obviously a simple tabbed sorting system would be a boon. (As well as a SCROLL BAR.) Oh, a "delete" option would be nice. That way I can delete all the hundreds of savegames I accrue. A feedback system, voluntary and opt-in, would be too cool. It would upload the player's battle results back to BF.C. Regardless, a better system needs to be implemented.
