panzermartin
For those of you looking for some online Shock Force you are welcome to join CMSF hamachi network. Hamachi is free and easy to use and we can turn it into a kind of lobby/chat room. RabidRabbit
I will try to set up hamachi by next weekend. I have been away from the game for a long time based upon performance issues. When I reinstalled with the latest patch I was very pleased. I hope to test it out online next weekend if there is anyone around. I would make great target practice for anyone interested.
panzermartin
Hope to see you there. 1.10 has done miracles to online stability and lag issues. Even big scenarios are now playable. Of course shortcut keys mapping is essential for proper real time gaming. Makes it a lot easier than cycling through the tabs to find the right command.

Sorry, I'm a little unclear on what you're saying. You know you can define the hotkeys as you want? panzermartin
Other Means, yes I know. I'm actually using yours as a base with a few changes Just wanted to inform people that Online RT can be difficult without assigning hotkeys.

panzermartin
Ok for anyone interested, here are three strickly 2P scenarios, featuring Opposing mechanised forces in meeting engagments battles. I used some stcok QB maps from CMSF and a nicely detailed map by Harry Crofton, named "Al Beluleyah". http://www.mediafire.com/file/3ngzdmiin2d/Holy Wars 2P Battles.rar

stikkypixie
Is the server always on? Or only at certain times?
Sergei
If you mean the server of Hamachi itself, it's always on. If you mean the CM network, there's no 'server' there. It's 'on' as long as there's someone logged in.
panzermartin
What Sergei said..Dont be put off by the emptyness of the room. Always someone will show up for a game if you wait a bit.

zwobot
Isn't there a built in player limit for Hamachi networks/rooms? I experienced this with a Dangerous Waters network in the past where new players could not jon the network becaue inactive players occupied the slots which prevented new players to join.

Yep, the first server reached the limt so I created another one. Read above.

panzermartin
Do people still actively visit the hamchi network? Ive just recently found this out and havent seen anyone on there, so where are you my willing opfors ? Hi, you just need to hang on a little and someone will pop up. Normally the first network is the most popular since it has 50 members but the new one is growing too.

Erw
In the 1st Lobby of Hamachi there's no one. In the 2nd i can't join. I gonna begin another Hamachi Lobby Name CMSFLobby2 Pw: Air
panzermartin
But why? There is no reason to open a 3rd network as the 2nd isnt filled yet. I would suggest active people from the 1st one to start logging in the 2nd too, as some members have already done.
Erw
Hamachi say me that the 2nd NetWork is full. I can't join. Don't know why. That's it because I create a 3th room. Salutes
