Itael
Sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find the answers. 1) Preorders get to download the Marines module before the 'rest' ? I remember reading a while ago that the download link will be available to everyone at the same time. 2) Is it true that the 1.10 Patch will be available after the Marines module? 3) I understand that the Marines module installation includes the 1.10 patch, will it also improve the stock CMSF campaign and scenarios? Thanks for your clarification BFC. Itai
Elmar Bijlsma
1) Don't know. 2) Yup, a few days after release, most likely. 3) Yes, installing the Marines module will upgrade CMSF to v1.10, so all the benefits carry over. This means you won't need the v1.10 patch.
Moon
1) Preoder customers will be notified first that the game is available. Usually this happens a few hours before the official announcement.
Sgt Joch
Itael, no changes were made to the stock campaign and scenarios, the new units will only be found in the new Marines campaign...although I have just restarted the stock CMSF campaign and with the 1.10 changes, it feels like a whole new game.

Elmar Bijlsma
Yup. For the Marines module it doesn't matter what version you have.

Moon
Will the download server implode like last time? What do you mean with "last time"? It's been quite a while that we had any problems with downloads, including for big releases. Our files are all hosted on a managed server network with basically unlimited bandwidth and with different servers for different customer locations. I don't expect any significant bandwidth issues.
purpheart23
So Mr. Moon when exactly are we not expecting any bandwidth issues. Just.....y'know if you had to guess.
