Jak170
I've seen some pictures of soldiers in SF with goggles on their helmets. However, I when I play with the highest settings, there are no goggles on the soldiers even though the texture maps have them. Why is this?
SgtMuhammed
Too many soldiers were losing them so their commander took them away.
Roter Stern
Night vision goggles or dust goggles? Either way I can't say I've ever seen them in-game ... where were those pictures you saw?
M1A1TC
I started a thread about the goggles in the past, on 12-25-2007. Just do a search for it. Its called "What happened to the goggles" (http://www.battlefront.com/community/showthread.php?t=76278) Still no official response from BFC
Jak170
Alright. I probably also saw them in the beta picture releases. You can find pictures everywhere and in so I thought my computer just didn't want to show them. Thanks. Also, is there a mod out there or a way to get them back in show?
Mord
There's a mod that has sunglasses...I think it's by M1A1TC...no goggles though. Mord.
M1A1TC
Correct, I did add glasses for soldiers, just as textures though. Just follow the link above, and see my first post. It will show a screenshot of my mod.I asked BFC if the goggles can still be made to show up on some soldiers, but no reply. I am guessing the coding was taken out
ChrisND
I could have sworn that I read somewhere that BFC pulled them because they didn't like the way they looked... I have no link or evidence though.
