I think u misunderstand Peter, I have no problem with Russia selling them the weapon, but i did admit that it will be a pain in the ass for Israel to attack Iran air-wise thanks to these weapons, the thing about the damn Russians was a joke, im Russian for christs sake!
Peter Cairns
Iron_man, Okay mate no problem, The big issue with an Israeli attack is crossing Iraq, the US would have to defacto sanction it, and that would almost inevitably see the Iranians arming the insurgents to the teeth. Bad news if you happen to be deployed their. Peter.

olduvai_again
Aamram is a lot of fun to say, and therefore -- along with anti-missile missile -- should be used with abandon and glee in any serious missile-ish discussion.
Sergei
Is Aamram the same as Amraam?

Peter Cairns
If this thing can shoot down a Harm does that make it an, anti-radar missile missile or an anti anti-radar missile ? Peter.
undead reindeer cavalry
no need to shoot down HARMs. HARMs go for silly antennas. just shoot down them cruise missiles etc.
Peter Cairns
Yes but the silly antenna the HARM is going for happens to be you, if your the TOR. Peter.
Terence
Forgive me but does anyone really think this thing will work as advertised? I realize that the carefully calibrated showpiece model that is lovingly tended by PHDs in white coats will work fine, but what about the production models, produced in Russian factories, and maintained by the Iranian army? Im not trying to offend any Russians, because I have a great deal of respect for the country and its people having lived there for some time, but the production discipline of the factories and the QA process is not highly regarded.
