tiny_tanker
The top and bottom vehicles look an awful lot like the cougar, which is already being used by the marines and EOD units in all services. A good choice if you ask me.
hellfish
South Africa already designed all the vehicles we'd ever need, from patrol vehicles to armored 2, 5, and 10 ton trucks.
MikeyD
Considering the Humvee replaced the old Mutt, which had replaced the Jeep, the vehicles just keep getting bigger and bigger. Interesting they show a drawing of it climbing a jersey barrier (kids, don't try this at home!). The Stryker's well know for its relative inability to mount obstacles. I wonder what the proposed deployment schedule is. Maybe the guys will start seeing around their 6th tours of duty there. Elmar Bijlsma
This has re-affirmed my impression that the US army will lose the next big war due to bankruptcy! For goodness sakes, it's supposed to be a light multi purpose transport vehicle! This is to the Jeep requirement as was the Maus to German tank needs.
