LuckyStrike
What a difference a patch makes. Just had a superb night battle, the 'Baker 1_1' scenario. With 1.06 and the dynamic lighting effects - explosions, fires, mortar air-bursts, tracers, close-range firefights, it was quite a show. Generally good armor behaviour and infantry behaviour noticably much improved.
Hev
Theres something wrong with the path finding again, aside from the roof issue when ever i order boys along a depresion or a trench (if there is a gentle slope away from the trench) my guys dont stay in the trench, instead choosing to walk along side it.
Meach
Hev, I honestly think that the type of move command you give dictates the approach the troops take. If you use a faster command they go for a direct line but a slower command they hug the terrain. I could be wrong but it might be worth taking a hunt move over a quick move? Not having a dig, mate, just an observation from my battles.
Andro
I think 1.06 is it for the gameplay and bugs. Well, till 1.07 pls serch for the Geforce 8800 and /or Dual Core bad performance problem.
Secondbrooks
Yup. We are there. I find this version to be heavily pleasing. BFC has made some good tweaks.
SgtMuhammed
I believe the problem with the 8800 card is with Nvidia and their drivers, but I'm not positive. There should be some stuff in the tech forum about them. A couple of guys use the 8800 and seem to be doing ok.
