rogue187
I haven't yet. I generally fire them from outside or roof tops. Just curious as to if anyone has seen an inside shot.
jomni
don't even know if it is possible in real life
Truppenfuhrung
It's possible. That's why the javelin have a "soft lunch".
SgtMuhammed
See it all the time. I regularly put my guys on upper floors to give them some overhead cover.

SgtMuhammed
I think it is more like a pudding pack. Firing one from inside a building in reality would make you severly silhouette yourself or risk the missile hitting the window sill. It would still be possible but you better unass the AO once you launch one.
nathan S.J.
whats interesting about the Jav, is that it has that "soft launch"... (you know, when you see the Jav, pop out of the tube before flying away?) the ability that propels the missle away from the lauch tube before turning on its main propulsion system. This was created so that the back blast is toned to a minimum at the inital launch and allows the missle as much room away from the original firing position as possible so that it wouldn't hit the overhangs of any buildings. I've seen the Jav been fired from the first floor of a 6 story building, but I should say that having Jav crews on the first floor of buildings is rather dumb... as you want to give them as much of a view of the battlefield to allow immediate engagement to threats that might otherwise be hidden from a view of the first floor.. PHew... hands hurt..

nathan S.J.
there is also sensors inside the missle that will tell the CLU computer to deny launch if there isn't enough room to fire, I.E. the window sill
