Gyrene
We actually managed to get 4 or 5 of us in the same place last time and nobody was seriously hurt. Maybe we can do it again. What do you other Southern Cal types think? Don't ask me where we should meet, just count on me being there. Gyrene

CDS
I have been playing CM since the demo days; however, I have never posted in the past . . . I just read the boards a couple of times a week to see what's new. I live in Lancaster, CA (God's Country)and might be up for a So Cal meeting. That's my 2 cents

L4Pilot
Being a little more mobile than the last time this came up, I'm up for something. I'm in Santa Monica. Where's this old airport being bandied about? L4Pilot
Pvt. Ryan
I vote for the Museum of Flying at the Santa Monica Airport.

And there are a couple of restaurants on the field that might be appropriate for a get together - Typhoon, with a view of the runway and Spitfire Grill - with some tables in the back and more beers On Tap. (BTW, the movie was named for the restaurant, not the other way around.) And SMO is not far off the 405 Freeway. L4Pilot

GillFish
Gentlemen, I, a full time lurker and part time player (wife & kids ya know), live in Chino Hills. Costa Mesa or Newport get my vote; Santa Monica however, is reasonable. My only request: a Friday or Saturday night so I can recover the next morning. THumpre
I work near Chino(too near Chino, we can smell the cows on foggy days) but live in Newport. Either one is fine with me but I too like the Friday/Saturday evening idea....

John Kettler
I like the Santa Monica proposal, since I live relatively close to there. Besides, I hear the Museum of Flying has several Russian WW II aircraft in its collection. Regards, John Kettler

Gyrene
We're down to Newport or Santa Monica. Newport is closer to myself and the women look better than in Santa Monica. I'm down for either place, however. What do you all think? We need a when also. 2 weeks? 3? Gyrene
Dreghorn2
Hello Gentlemen, High desert here, Ridgecrest, a little farther out than you Lancaster-Bakersfield guys. Love Combat Mission and have been around, as a lurker mostly, from the beginning. Alpha AAR got me started. Yours, Dreghorn2
