John Kettler
I know that when the last man in a squad is hit, a figure appears at the place he fell. What I don't know, though, is whether the same rule holds for a vehicle crew. If, say, a jeep or truck with two men in toto aboard takes a hit which gets both men, should there be a figure or not? I've never lost an entire crew before in a softskin, so have no knowledge base upon which to draw. I have a file in which this happens, and even at +4 magnification, the crew simply vanishes. Shift V doesn't change the situation either. Is this normal, or should I post it to the V 1.01 bug thread? Normal game behavior or something for the X-Files? Regards, John Kettler
V
No, I don't think you see a corpse if the entire crew was killed in the vehicle...
Meach
I never see corpses when a AFV takes a big hit and all crew are wiped out. I Imagine they are flash fried in there seats and don't have time to bail.
Ant
I got an armoured car hit with the whole crew killed only yesterday, and there weren't any bodies.
Thin Red Line
Side note : When a AFV is killed on a bridge, and the AFV falls into the water, even if there are survivors no crew member can exit the vehicule. No corpses can be found.
Ant
Side note : When a AFV is killed on a bridge, and the AFV falls into the water,LOL. I've never seen that before. I'm going to spend my time now placing all my vehicles on bridges precariously close to the edge

When it happened to me i was pretty curious to observe the outcome for the crew
MikeyD
If the whole crew has been killed in a vehicle you probably would not WANT to see that graphically represented. Charred headless disembowelled corpses. The stuff of nightmares.

Made for an interesting spectacle, to say the least. Btw, the second Staghound made it across the bridge, but it wasn't enough to tip the outcome past a "draw." Good. That's what you get for flag rushing the AI!
