Wodin
DO you micromanage each squad or do you give orders to the platoon HQ? I expect you micromanage the tanks but what about the infantry?

stoat
I you want to move the entire platoon when you are out of the enemy's lines of sight and fire, double click the HQ units and give everyone under their command move orders. Once you reach a point where you have expcect to make contact with the enemy, you will probably want to give orders to each squad individually.

Joachim
a) Depends on the amount of units I have. Depends on the distance to the enemy. Generally I like to micromanage. I play huge scens and like to watch perfectly plotted convoy movements. Gruß Joachim

wunwinglow
So, you just shunted the half-track in front. Do you: A Wait 10 seconds for the traffic to clear, then start again? B Barge past and get in front of the idiot who stalled/bogged? C Reverse at full tilt out from behind the adjacent building into the line of sight of a Panther? I think we can all answer that one, can't we?.... Tim P

Tim P D Don't drive in convoys when there is no LOS block between the whole road plus its vicinity and the enemy TacAI and convoys don't mix. I try to plan each of my moves with the TacAI and its features in mind. Gruß Joachim
