John Poggioli
Just re-installed CMAK. Looking for a quick refresher course. I have the CMAK Quick Reference Guide, but no fat manual like I do for CMBO and CMBB. Did CMAK come with a fat printed manual or only with the Quick Reference Guide and the full manual on the disk ??
Philippe
My CMAK came with printed but shortened version of the pdf manual, as well as the pdf manual. So when I really want to look something up, I usually go to the CMBB manual instead.
John Kettler
John Poggioli, Philippe's approach makes eminently good sense, provided the question isn't about something specific to CMAK! FWIW, I've never downloaded the CMAK pdf manual. Regards, John Kettler

slysniper
I have a commercially printed manual, that is almost the same from start to finish as the CMBB one. I should state here that I did buy these games in the US and not from Battlefront direct.

John Kettler
slysniper, So, are you saying you have a CDV version or somesuch? I bought CMAK direct from BFC and got only the Quick Reference Guide as even a proximal substitute for the printed manual you describe. Would love to see BFC wade in on this one. Wicky
Plus full printed manuals came with all BFC mac CMs [ March 06, 2008, 05:42 PM: Message edited by: Wicky ]
John Kettler
Wicky, If mac CM = CM for Mac, then I can assure you I got no such full printed manual. If the above equivalency isn't correct, then please define your terms. Regards, John Kettler

slysniper
Yes, I have the CDV published versions on all three games, but i will stand corrected, CMAF did not come with the printed manual like I was thinking, It just had a small pamplet. My BAD!!!!

_UXcva
Just to clarify a bit... the BFC purchased Macintosh version of CMAK does come with a manual - in .pdf format - as Wicky's screenshot shows. As far as a printed manual, no, not with the BFC version at least. From the FAQ located here - http://www.battlefront.com/products/cmak/cmak_faq.html Will CMAK have a printed manual? In order to reduce costs on this game and be able to sell it for only $35 we have decided to ship it with the main manual as a 210+ PDF file which is installed along with the game from the CD. The manual is very similar to the previous CMBB manual and we feel the vast manjority of players of CMAK will already own CMBB. CMAK will also ship with a 32 page printed Player Guide with a detachable Quick Reference Card.

Wicky
My bad, I've got a full CMBO and CMBB manual, indeed checking under the pile of paperwork on my desk reveals a CMAK minimal 30 page quick start manual.
