V'waffe?... not me I posted them now because its starting to get warmer here and my pc is already crashing due to overheating. And thats just in spring, so, in no way im going to be able to do anything in the summer. 134 maps. They are excellent and I recently used one in my Russian Offensive series. I am designing a Russian reconnaissence mission so want a map with plenty of covered routes but able to hold 2000 points a side. Maybe 1.5 x 1.5. I can only thank you for taking the time to do these and release them for all to enjoy. From experience, on the rare occasion I've tried my hand at mapping it can be a real pain to finish and oh so time consuming. theike Posted August 17, 2007 Author Share Posted August 17, 2007 i just took a look: it goes up to 4480x 4400 (or other way around) bigger then that size you have to cut one side down first to be able to enlargen the other. 3920x5040 is an option then. and operations do 8000x4000, so somewhat bigger, but i dont know if you want to play an operation... sross Posted August 18, 2007 Share Posted August 18, 2007 Actually I love operations and have been trying to use some of your maps in the bundle. I used the map converter to read them from the scenario file and then write them into an operation file. The only problem is that for example your map will be 4320x4560. The operation won't allow me to adjust the size like the scenario map does, so it ends up 4320x4000. Not a huge problem, but some of the maps are shaving off over a km of your beautiful terrain. So, from now on, if you could design them only in operational format, you know, just for me and my convenience. Keep up the wonderful work!!
