My problem is that i can not reïnstall the game again (also after getting a new pc) The key i got with bying the game doesnt work anymore. errorcode 11 It sais there are no licences currently available for this license key. You have installed all of the licenses for this product to which you are entitled. If you need additional licenses, you will need to contact the publisher or vendor store you purchased this product from (i ordered it online on this site), or you will need to puchase another copy. I dont intend to do the last. I guess one can understand why one wouldnt. I think its a good thing protecting a game to ckackers, but its another thing if that protection costs the buyer his playing fun. I was thinking not to spend time on this, and just not to reïnstall the game, but then again it would be very wrong to not be able to play my own game i payed with my own money. also the offline license generator wont help: Error Occured: All licenses are currently in-use or none remain. Is there any way i can still play this game?
  2. ive been asked before to make some more maps in operation setting. Its no problem to me, i mean i make maps anyway. I will make a few for the next mappack, though i cant say when its done... it will be large ones, very large:)
  3. i just took a look: it goes up to 4480x 4400 (or other way around) bigger then that size you have to cut one side down first to be able to enlargen the other. 3920x5040 is an option then. and operations do 8000x4000, so somewhat bigger, but i dont know if you want to play an operation...   5. Who?; me or you? V'waffe?... not me I posted them now because its starting to get warmer here and my pc is already crashing due to overheating. And thats just in spring, so, in no way im going to be able to do anything in the summer. 134 maps. I hardly play the game anymore, but still day by day working on a map settles me down before sleeping, and while waking up, and getting coffee in, kick-starting my brain thanks for your kind words, guys. you know what to do with them...

  7. True. I know you asked that. And i do think the scenario you made could be quit fun with two players. So sorry i didnt try that for you. Hope some others will. It will probably be an interesting game for them.
  8. one turn took me 40 minutes (around 30 just waiting), pitty because i would have liked to see how my thoughts of it would work out. (taking te left (down) cornor first and so on) The map is pretty freaky ofcourse, thats not a real problem if its a good game anyway. though one could make this abstract idea more camouflaged and more realistic looking, landscape like (why sea? couldnt no sea work?) A bit more realism there could make the game more thrilling to play. (are the tree square 'roads' not something that could hold up alot?) ... niway: good effort, good idea... would like to play(test)... but havent got the patience. thanks though.

  11. in my mind the weathercharts on tv of and around europe always show Russia in bad weather conditions way before december. (and atleast for a whole 3 months and even longer.)
  12. 35. (bought a pc after playing cmbo at my brothers house a few times and wanted more of it. thats around 7 years ago) (played alot of games, Unreal Tournament freak i was for some time. These days there are no games i seem to like anymore, not really that is, pc cant cope with the new stuff, and anyway its all the same repeat of old engines anyhow, smücked up with some tastless eyecandy.) Maps though i still love to make, and view and run through. They are still like little vacantions:)
  13. Although the basis is the same, sc2 does alow for alot more. Indeed the editor will in time hopefully do to the game as intended, namely provide for months and months of playing on different battlefields and, make perfect h2h games. As in cm this game doesnt have to end, you see, its to be kept alive by the people that want to keep it alive. (good games alow players to recreate the world in it) (because ofcourse as all games, the game itself will only do so much, especialy if you think an ai can be a match, or one map will not get boring) I liked the remark about the quickbattle generator.
  14. ah, you do the same as i do. Nice to hear this, that they get used for such things. Its what i aim at mostly, making my maps the size that can inhold different parts of a landscape, so afterwards... (everybody, including myself ofcourse can trim them to the portion thats best used for that moment) The setups i do, i know are just my thing, a lot of you guys would chooze different zones and flag settings. I think the best maps, or lets say the most interesting maps can indeed be played a few ways. But as i said, its nice to hear you actually make time to make them ready for the battle you need. I didnt really know people really did that. (just hoped untill now) Making accurate normandy maps, nah, that aint my thing. Too much research, and too little just going along with what i think looks and plays best. But your right; niet geschoten is altijd mis. some cmbb maps where pretty cool, i can remember some of them, vaguely...

  16. veel tijd gekost ja, maar telkens zo lekker als het wel erg aangenaam is ook even. no thanks, guys... just go and have a good game. I now selected about 15 of these maps to go and edit, (make smaller or bigger, put on more woods, take away some outskurts, etc) for a new mappack. Also im planning to make about 6 or so operation maps, and then, when im already full on the go, there must be some specific ones from these worked out all new (one i like, and have ideas for. (the one thats quit flat, has no river, and is shaped by wooded rows only. (bit France like) ...etc...etc...etc Yep , have all my boring little moments these next few months already done for.   20. aha, this sounds interesting... will make a nice headtohead game suggestions? ;hmm... ohyes; one: rockets could be nuclear bombs? make them cost a 1000+ and only to be bought after expensive research...? (just thinking here...) Using them would whipe out a bigger aria (as big as, say; Portugal?) for say, half a year? no entering it for both sides...?( i see lining up around it and waiting to be the first to go in again and take it...)(and you only have two?) (and after using one, all neutral countries join the forcess against the user?) (one of the researches could become a fallout-gear thingy, to be able to enter the area before giving free date...?) (at this moment i have 'won'; all countries are mine except one army in london, and i am going for the usa via canada...just landed) (its fun to make that jump across:) But i have some scripting suggestions or remarks, its about the allies taking part in the game as ai. They nearly dont. Great Britain makes a small jump across the chanal late in the game, much too late, only after i already had air superiority and had been taking away their southern ground troops, they took Cherbourg, and stopped there. If they had been pumping units in Normandie it would atleast given them a change there, and had been making me have a much harder time getting the ussr on the knees. But landing in France earlier would have been even a better move. usa only made one troop delivery to Great Britian in the whole game, and after i got sea superiority it only bought troops that it didnt do anything with in the game, so its points grew to 9999 points... useless. (also earlier in the game the ussr had 4000 plus points, when the axis only rose up to 250/300 each turn, and also ussr didnt do anything to unsaddle the axis attack with.) -allies ai has to be scripted not to just defend, but also make the axis's rise much slower and harder by fighting a REAL two fronted war, before that is too late, usa shoudnt hamster too much but make use of its units for europe. ai hardly updates its units to the research upgrades it has gotten after putting money in it. In the beginning in the ussr i thought that was maybe because it didnt have the time, but with 4000 plus money and for example airfleet to level 3 it never updated its fleet for many turns, that while it could have made it much harder for me. (same with its tanks, level 3 but no updates in the field) usa for example only upgrades 2 or 3 units per turn, while it has money for upgrades for all. Its such a pitty because upgrading/keeping up with the enemy would have made the game much harder and so better. I think its the middle start of the game for the ai allies that needs some more refinement... to keep the axis progress in line some more. (after the middle start (being in the ussr halfway, after taking France) that it got to me that the game would just go on like this and nothing much would happen anymore to upset this. Another notice was that the ai kept comming out its harbors for the one ship i got in site, regardless of the many that where waiting for them after comming to sea. this way i could easily take care of the whole allied fleet, bit by bit. The Fall black mod is a progress. My remarks are more about the scripts of the general game then the mod of it, i know that. Im just sharing these as thoughts... And while im talking?: When do all the mod peoples mods of close-up battles (like the normandy one and the stalingrad one) come out? i think these close-up fights, of many different settings, could really get the game going (and bring the excitement back, after playing the bigger europe game a few times) More Combat Mission type scenarios !!! ... greets.   23. Im playing the game now (im somewhere in '41.) Spain joined my axis, and thats cool, but there are some typing mistakes i believe. For one i saw a tank or airfleet, one of those two, that costs a 1000, (instead of 100?) and updating my existing airfleet of spain takes hundreds in money aswell, must be a mistake. For the rest, russian ai does bad on its hq's (deffending them) but that might be a thing of the game in general, and not for this mod. The usa is only buying men sofar, might that be a change you made? (im curious about what it is going to do with it...) Pitty about the what i think are just typos
