WineCape
Jesse, Official line run as follows: TNT International broke one bottle in the consignment. This damaged the labels of the other wine bottles. Wine are being send back to South Africa. The wine is insured (via my freight forwarder, Vineyard Connection). The latter will replace and re-send. Roger that?

juan_gigante
May I recommend that somebody makes a separate thread for the AARs so that we non-ROWers hear the good news and get to check out those AARs?
jbertles
My, my. So few AARs. It looks like everyone wants to audit the course, but few want to do the homework. Sheesh. You don't have to write a thesis, y'know. Most designers would be happy for even a few choice tidbits of info about their scenarios as seen from other eyes - you don't HAVE to go for the prize (although admittedly, a Richie model.... basically a new family heirloom....).
John Kettler
juan_gigante, I thought somebody did set up a site for the ROW V AARs. I wish that such sites had them in HTML so as to avoid the whole PDF download drill, but with the pics involved, there's probably a bandwidth issue. jbertles, Are you referring to AARs from the Finals? Regards, John Kettler
juan_gigante
Not a site. There is one of those. A new thread like: "ROW AAR Winner!!!!" "BigDog944's AAR was really good! Give him a hand! Read them all here (link to site)" I just figured that non-ROWers would rarely check the ROW thread, but may still want to hear the news.

BigDog944
Kingfish Any chance that you or one of the organisers could publish the entire list of passwords used for all the RoWV battles? I've saved all my turns, and I was thinking it'd be fun to check out all the battles from my opponents' point of view. I could publish half of them, but it'd be nice to have a full list of them on 'permanent' record sanctioned by the oragnisers. Cheers!

walpurgis nacht
Wine arrived today. Holy ****e! Charl, you're the man! Very generous of you. You know, I didn't see a single drop of this wine last year. . . I had it all sent to jwxspoon's house in SC for the CMvention. By the time I arrived there wasn't a drop left to be had! Glad I was greedy this round! Thank you very much! Cheers, Jesse
jwxspoon
hey I resemble that remark! You probably don't remember, Jesse, but you were so blasted on other alcohols that you wouldn't have recognized a wine bottle if you had seen it! And Charl - we LOVE your spirit! But we'd love to see you in person too. jw
WineCape
Walpurgis, Good to hear you received it this time in one piece. Have not had a return in many years, so don't know why USA customs shake the box so hard to find out what's inside. I consider all my promises fulfilled and my work done for RoW V. Spoon, It seems the only way, for the time being, to see me is on the 'Pools excuse for a Website for the time being. Joe wanted to keep only my wife in the picture, but I informed him I married above myself and it needs showing ... What time period is the CMVention again?
