StereoMike
http://www.gamegossip.com/comment.php?id=1907 How about this: We will release a 2 battle demo as soon as we go Gold, sometime around November this year, and up until then we will be releasing daily screenshots and other information on www.battlefront.com. Don't know if they have said this before either: the player will be able to use the full-featured editor to make his own maps, historical or fictional. You also have the choice to use historic settings (meaning that some units will not be available in some theaters) or unrestricted settings, to make some what-if scenarios; or even re-create battles from other theaters, like for example France or even the Pacific.
Ant
I fail to see how we could have battles in the pacific as there weren't too many Japanese troops in North Africa or Italy.
Pzman
I think they are talking about CMX2 Ant.
Becket
Is it too late to continue my plea that the two included battles be aimed at PBEM? I have about 4 or 5 potential players that could be persuaded to buy it if the demo scenarios work well for PBEM.

Madmatt
I am not sure if that was a typo or what but the editor in CMAK is the same as it was in CMBB and I also don't see how you could do a Pacific battle since there are no Japanese troops included. A scenario to simulate France with US vs. German troops? Sure, but certainly not Pacific. Madmatt
WWB
Hmm, sandy maps, palm trees. And I bet italians could make passable japanese troops . . . WWB
IntelWeenie
I can't believe no one has mentioned the single most important sentence in that interview: "It will be released November this year." I'm tingly with anticipation....

Vergeltungswaffe
Wonderfully ignorant comments from l33t adolescents that it doesn't look good and its not realtime. The horror...
atiff
Yeah, out of loyalty I had to make a comment there, so I dared them all to download the CMBO demo and try it. Well, it's worth a try....

Question is....will we able to utilise the 3rd storey? Regards Jim R.
Sergei
The tall buildings are twice the height of the low buildings like before, which means that the "3-storeyness" is only graphical.
