How many points was WWII?

Their flanks would be exposed. This maneuver is known historically as "Mooning the Führer".

No kidding! Was that in the Stuart tank, or after they switched? (Remember when Stuart's ghost finally accepted that they were crewing a new tank named after Sherman? )

Nope, it is much lower than that LOL.

Hokay, let's make a campaign out of it.

Most of the arty was fired out of CM level engagements, so that should be abstracted.

That leaves us the 48 million points in weaponry. Let's toss in some Cm level arty, say 15 million points? 63 million.

But let's only focus on the west front 44-45, since that's what we can do with current CM. How many points out there? Say, 1/4 of the whole shebang, about 16 million.

But lot of the stuff wasn't availlable from the start, but rather came in later. Maybe 8 million points from the start.

Split that into manageable lumps (2500 points) and we'll need 3200 field commanders for the german side, maybe we'd get by with 4000 german commanders alltogether.

Hmm.. from that, would 10000 allied commanders sound about right? 14 000 players alltogether, say 15 000 to make up for possible dropouts.

Who want's to be the referee and keep track of the casualties?

Amusing. Actually, the west is more like 1/8th of it, because it is shorter in time and had fewer men along it as well. So call in 8.25 million points. Let half come in after the start as reinforcements and replacements, that leaves 4.125 million. The German commands should be only about 2000 each, because the Allied ones will have to be bigger. With some operational higher ups, call it 2500 Germans. Then 5000 Allies should do. But I betcha it would take them longer than the actual campaign - LOL.
