Tanks a Lot
This one is rocky. Should I add more rocks? make them smaller? or get a life and go outside every once in a while?
Michael Dorosh
Why isn't your away team wearing red shirts?
PawBroon
That's neat. Could you do a pic from higher up (IE View 3) to see the overall effect and how it blends?
Panzer Leader
That would look especially nice in a babbling brook. Just kidding. I like it but it needs a little more randomness maybe.

Pvt. Ryan
Who spilled the raisins? I think the stones need to be more random in size.
PawBroon
Thanks for the higher view. As said above you should add some randomness in this MOD. The rocks look good but the overall effect is one of a field since they seem to have been planted in here. Unless it a Stonehedge MOD? Keep it up rolling you're doing well and it's worth more tweakings.
BloodyBucket
Keep at it. The idea of mixing up the sizes of the rocks is good. I wish I had the artistic ability to mod. Perhaps if some were rounded, like you have now, and others were a little more jagged?

Michael Dorosh
The reason it looks like a Star Trek set is that there is no underbrush! Rocks appear when the earth around them has eroded away - they aren't dropped by helicopter! The rocks look very good - excellent use of colour. But they are not blended in at all. Put some vegetation and dirt round them...you might want to get some subdued grass before you go further; that bright green is a killer.
Tanks a Lot
I varied the size a little.
jd
But I think you also need to vary density, the distibutoion of them. They look fairly evenly spread out rather than clumped
Tanks a Lot
I added my rocks to Jujus tree bases in my latest attempt at a rough mod.

Pvt. Ryan
That looks really good. Just make sure one tile blends with another when you have more than one.
Warmaker
Nice one from the most recent picture. Are you gonna do a snow version too?
Jonah
I agree that the last one looks nice. When I think of 'rough' in an agricultural land setting, I think of the piles of rocks that Canadian farmers leave in places in their fields...........not sure if this practice happened in NW Europe or if this was the intent of the 'rough' tile. Perhaps some groupings of rocks and variation of rock density would give the impression of land that was too much of a bother to cultivate??
