Mace Any of you guys have a HD? That was my first car, a stationwagen built like a tank, with anti-personal devices built next to the lights on both sides! You could bang it into Power poles without much damage (as I frequently did - which is some indication of my driving ability)!
Guest KwazyDog
No Mace, but they sure were built like a tank My line of vehicles starts with an XB coupe, then an XC Panel Van, an HQ Gts cope, and now a Nissan 180SX. Damn, now what a change that is, hehe.

Say, you must have had the obligatory sticker "If this van's a rockin', don't bother knockin'"? Mace
Guest KwazyDog
Hehe, no, never did find one. It was a black V8 though, so people pretty much got the drift and usually stayed out of my way, hehe Dan
Bozza
Well my current car is a HX Panelvan, nothing too fancy - just GTS mags and a 202 with a 350 Holley and extractors... but it gets me round. Thanks for the help there Steve, I got your email too.
CaSCa
Gear-heads down under? Who'd of thought? I have a '73 Chevy 3/4 ton panel van with a 350 cid engine mounting a Rochester quadra-jet and a positraction rear end. I paid $800 US for it and since it's over 25 years old it's considered a classic and doesn't need to be smog inspected. That's a good thing here in California. I use it mostly for camping and trips to the lumber yard. It's ugly as sin, and needs a rebuild of the suspension, but it hauls relative butt for a big heavy panel van. Is there an antipodal market for these guzzlers? It was only used for 'rocking' once by a little old lady from Pasadena...

Trouble is, our dollar is now so weak against yours that importing a car now is somewhat prohibitive! Mace
Speedy
I heard something about the release of a new Sandman? Any of you heard about this? As for first cars, try 1970 Ford escort with no brakes, boy was that fun to drive ------------------ Work is the curse of the drinking class. I have nothing else to say. Ya, quote that you rat bastards. -Meeks
Stuka
Nah, Speedy, that 'Sandman' thing was a one-off made up for the Sydney motor show I think. And while we're talking engines, the 308 in my GTS had a tunnel ram with 2x 4 barrel holleys (polished of course), and did'nt it ferk'in go!, of course a set of 3.55 gears in the diff sure helped the take off if not the top speed
Bozza
Aye the 'ol 308 can go super 'ard when it's got the right work done to it. Drag-built Toranas go like buggery on the strip - Blown 454s with Nitros online - get 8-9 secs no probs.
Brian Smith
For you Aussies out there interested in delivery times for CM, I got mine today. Ordered it 22 December 2000, dispatched by BTS 27 December 2000, arrived in Sydney Parcel Centre 3 January 2001, delivered to my desk 4 January 2001. Total 13 days (not bad for Xmas period!). For those interested, the game does not come boxed. It arrived in an A4 sized thick paper envelope. Inside was the game manual (173 pp), with the game CD slipped inside the cover. For those with home mailboxes, the package is too large to fit in most (so you would get the dreaded pick-up slip). I sent mine to my office. Thanks BTS! Hussar
Well mine cost $A88 altogether, took 16 days to get here. A bargain AFAIK. Like the man said find a friend with visa or get a card yourself. You dont have to use it much, cancel it after you get the game if you want.
