Probus
Our last turn of CMCW was so crazy I had to record it. I'm assaulting a town by with mechanized forces. Tanks and mechanized infantry. A cluster bomb artillery shell(s) hits on my left flank. There is a tank platoon coming out of the trees on the upper right flank when an AAA vehicle shows up, stage center and lets loose with its Gatling gun briefly before also being hit. Total chaos in 4K! I luv it! A quick and dirty screen capture for your enjoyment.
Probus
Who would be some good, friendly people to talk to about snazzing up this AR to make it more interesting? I don't have a YouTube presence per-se, nor do I really want one. But I would like to learn how to make better Combat Mission videos that draw you into the action.

Shoot the action from multiple angles. Shoot at ground level. Use easily recognizable scenery to allow people to place the action. Pay attention to continuity. Shoot more footage than you think you need. Watch Peckinpah (editing), Romero (more editing), Fuller (how to do more with less) and Kubrick (framing) films for ideas. Remember that some people get motion sick.
Grey_Fox
Making narrated videos is very time intensive. From my limited experience it can take about 10 times as long to create the video as the length of the video between scripting, recording, voiceover, and editing.
