Sgt.Squarehead
Title says it all really.....An appeal to @Battlefront.com to add Uncon abilities to the Partisans in CM:RT. As they currently stand they are just rubbish infantry (with no access to vehicles), I'm assuming that, as the game lacks a Population Density setting, they can't infiltrate urban areas any better than other units (although I haven't properly tested this, yet) and they definitely can't blow up a bridge or lay booby-traps (other than mines, which are a poor substitute for IEDs).
Glubokii Boy
Stuff like that seems like a perfect fit ! I second this request... Adding some partisans to Normandy would also be nice...

akd
Spies would seem like abuse of the system in RT (mostly invulnerable recon unit with no actual means of communication), but would like to see various improvised explosive mines and command-detonated charges, and not just for partisans.

They would make an excellent representation of the messengers used to cross enemy lines by resistance types in every theatre of war, pretty much since we invented it. akd
Spies in CMSF are assumed to have cell phones or civvie handheld radios. Intel setting for the scenario is the best way to handle information carried across lines. Edited November 23, 2021 by akd
Sgt.Squarehead
They can't information share at a distance AFAIK.....TBH Red C2 is a bit of mess all round in CM:SF2, but we are getting away from the point as I wouldn't expect them to have radios in CM:RT anyway.

Dot Dot Dot Dash or Beethoven's Fifth Symphony was the sign for occupied Europe followed by a coded message. Agents trained in radio communications taught the local resistance.
Sgt.Squarehead
Not particularly useful in CM scale.....But the ability to cross the lines with a head full of tentative contacts would be.

The longer your spy stays alive the more tentative units your HQ receives. The human mind is very inventive, like a street busker playing something special.
Sgt.Squarehead
In this case he (&/or his cell) would gather info while behind enemy lines (spotting & acquiring contacts) and then one or more of them would have to walk out with it (passing it horizontally via proximity to a HQ or forward observer).
