They are asking you to help fund the production, and as a way to say thank you, they will send you a copy of the finished map. A bit like the mystery donor who paid for CMFI. Erwin Posted November 29, 2020 Author Share Posted November 29, 2020 (edited) IIRC in the past Columbia has used kickstarter or similar concept to fund games or at least see what is the interest b4 committing to production. The folks who "invest/prepay" get the product at a cheaper price than it sells for after it is produced. I have the Euro series which comes with xnt mounted maps. But, when I looked at the size of the neoprene map they are raising money for it was larger than any table I have.
