Bulletpoint
Isn't it Standard Operating Procedure to stop when the squad discovers it's in a minefield? Of course running across a field under fire would be different, but that's what we have the FAST command for.
MikeyD
Mine fields are like rocket artillery in the game. If used in a historical manner they'd bring gameplay to a virtual halt. You build a map with an impenetrable minefield, there's no scenario to play after that. Its just you on one side and them on another. Perhaps the rest of the Division might be encircling the position but that doesn't make the scenario in front of you any more playable.
akd
I do agree that at times it would be useful to have a movement order that was less careful & tiring than Hunt, but would still have a unit stop if it came under fire/took casualties. Tricky to see where to fit this into the UI. move to contact. personally, I'd be fine if "move" became "move to contact," at least for infantry, as I find very little use for the order.
Erwin
I liked the Cm1 move to contact. It was more useful than HUNT. It would solve the minefield issue. Not sure why we can't have both.
Hister
OMG, move to contact is what's missing. Basically you would be able to click it together with slow, normal, quick and fast speeds as a toggle on/off button above or beneaf them in UI.
