Freyberg Posted May 23, 2013 Share Posted May 23, 2013 I've had two PBEM games where we both hit ceasefire, but the game didn't end. In one of them, we waited a long time (each unaware the other had hit ceasefire). This has happened in CMFI and CMBN-CW. Is this a bug? Of course, most of the times, my opponents (who are, as a rule, hateful, sadistic bastiches) just laugh at me and continue to mow down my poor, confused little pixeltruppen, while they run around randomly, shouting things like, "My leg! My leg!" (The pixeltruppen, that is... not my opponents). But, on the few occasions where they've actually felt a modicum of pity... or boredom, perhaps... too close to call, really... and they hit Cease Fire. Holman Posted May 23, 2013 Share Posted May 23, 2013 I have noticed that it sometimes takes longer than I expect: My turn--I hit ceasefire. Oppo's turn--He hits ceasefire. My turn--I give orders and do my thing. Oppo's turn--He does too. My turn--I get ceasefire end-of-game notification finally. And the clock goes red and negative? That is different that is extra time.
