  1. Of course, the jpg compression of the photo alters the reality seen on the screen. The photos on this forum are always low resolution. My screenshots of T80 with not too strong compression. You can zoom to see the details remain fine (Win 11, I9, 48 Go ram, nvidia 3060 rtx): Close: https://www.mediafire.com/view/ew89cix909y4l83/T80_close.jpg/file Far: https://www.mediafire.com/view/5uqqximhlaj1ybl/T80_far_away.jpg/file
  2. Dear Kohlenklau, no doubt the problem of the Patton sprocket wheel would have been corrected by BFc in a far future. Same for badly positioned tank commanders in FI. I was only reporting these problems to BF.c so that they could be corrected by their teams. On the other hand, I don't think that BFC would have corrected the English and French helmets, which are perhaps voluntary artistic choices and not errors. That's why for the helmets, I asked you directly if you could do something. Thank you so much for that (the British have become my favorite troops ever since). I have a little obsession with helmets as evidenced by this old thread from the early days of CMBN (my nickname was Fugazy at the time) about the German helmet, and I was finally heard by BFc: For the request to have a chance of being heard by BF.c, or by you, we must make an effort to ensure that it is well understood and to be precise.. This is not the case here, we don't understand what the problem or problems exposed by Artkin are, and he remains laconic when asked for clarification. I don't have any problems with the T80, whether seen from close or far, and the size relation between Russian tanks and BMPs seems correct to me (as Jace says, perhaps his sense that there is a problem comes from her personal game setup or the power of his computer...) To come back to the problem of helmets and caps, I would like to know how you manage to put them back in their place correctly in Blender. To understand, I opened the French helmet's mdr in Blender with the addon you linked: the object is alone, and the soldiers' "skeleton" files are in mds format, which I don't know how to open. I would like to see if it is possible to improve by myself the position of the caps of German and Russian officers. Right now I'm reading the tuto PDF (Mike Bailey Oregon university) your are linked. But if I start this conversation, it would be necessary to migrate to the mod forum. I noticed another small issue with the positioning of the Valentine's commander in RT when the turret is open (I searched if it was already reported on RT forum with the term Valentine, without result): the feet protrude from the floor, and the right arm tends to come out the sides of the turret when it rotates. It's a curious problem because when the commander puts his head out, his feet protrude slightly but not his right arm. It is when the turret rotates that the right arm extends a little, and the arm then stays a little outside when the turret returns to its normal position. For the feet, it would be necessary to raise the commander a little bit, it is already a little low. The problem of the arm seems delicate to me because the turret is narrow. Nevertheless BFC had already solved similar problems in the past with other vehicles. 5. There is a missing information in the briefing: the artillery comes 5 or 10 minutes after the start of the game with an artillery observer officer. The artillery icon lights up, turns green.
  6. - M60A1 Rise + - M60A1 Rise - M60A2 All M60 Patton are fixed! Well done! Good job! La Chandeleur is in 2 month but for you right now unlimmited: bolées de cidre fermier and crêpes Suzette flambées au Grand Marnier !

  9. @Battlefront.com this member @kohlenklau deserves to receive the game CMColdWar as a gift for having fixed lots of little things with Blender: rear wheel of the Pattons which didn't turn (he doesn't even own the game), French and English helmets adjusted correctly on the heads of the soldiers in CMBN and CMFI, hull machine gun correctly placed when the PIII G turret rotates in RT, and the crews of Tiger tanks and some Shermans including the Firefly in FI which are correctly placed when the turret is unbutton. 10. I tested several times the mdr in first scenario of the campaign US 1979, and in a scenario that I quickly created in the editor to have all the American tanks. The wheel remains static on left side and turn on right side of the tank. Not in saved game.
  11. - I confirm that the mdr is in the z folder with the other mods, and cw restarted. This is where I put the mdr of the m60 which made the wheels disappear. - The helmet fits perfectly now and works in BN and FI! I didn't expect such a quick response. The British soldiers look great, now thank you very very much King of Blender This mod should be reported in the relevant forums. 12. to the M48A5, the problem is still there. However, nothing disappears ...
  13. If you manage to fix that damned wheel (and the English helmet from BN and FI, I exposed the problem in a post above) in addition problems already fixed with the tank crews in FI and the Adrian helmet: I vote for BF.c to offer you CMCW for service to Franco-American friendship, a guarantee of world peace !
  14. No. It's an extra folder on the M60s that I hadn't seen in the data folder containing all the brz. So you were missing this folder to work properly. All M60 Pattons (7 tanks) have the exact same problem + the M48A5 Patton (it's the only M48 in the game). The Abrams is ok, and so are the Russian tanks.
  15. Wait! Wait! Wait! I just saw that the M60 is updated in another data brz. Zip: https://www.mediafire.com/file/bw4gra4xjeegi21/M60_Patton.zip/file Here's everything about the M2 50 in CW Zip: https://www.mediafire.com/file/v4eru3cn98k4y5u/M50.zip/file
  16. The gear disappears on both sides when the tank rolls. View: https://www.mediafire.com/view/fka0wu476xlmkmt/M60A1_rise_gear_out.jpg/file
  17. I think I found it, sorry it was an isolated bmp at the very bottom of the folder list, I hope it's the correct one: bmp download: https://www.mediafire.com/file/fm9moelhpuj6c39/us-vehicle-gear.bmp/file
  18. I'm sorry but I couldn't find the requested bmp file in the .brz files in the data folder. Everything about the M48 patton was in the file I sent (for those who have the game it's in "cold war v100d.brz"). The M60 Patton looks like it the running gear is pretty much the same, maybe that helps. Just found that it's exactly the same problem for the M60s: the rear wheel on the same side stays static. 19. I take advantage of you are here to point out another small graphic problem: The English helmet in BN and FI appears to be placed incorrectly on the soldier's head (as was the case for the French helmet that you had brilliantly fixed). It should be lowered a bit. There is a gap between the top of the skull and the helmet which would allow the helmet to fit better. However, the helmet strap could become a problem unless it is removed. Picture of the problem and propositon to fix it: https://www.mediafire.com/view/196txwjn977zeyd/Helmet_brit_FI_and_BN.jpg/file
  20. I don't know if the animation bug has already been reported, I searched the forum with the term "Patton" and found nothing. The Patton's rear wheel (only it) on the left side doesn't roll when the tank is rolling, the wheel remains static . It is ok on the right side, the wheel turns. 21. Thanks to my opponent and winner GeorgeMC (my first PBEM on CW, no problem with PBEM++). The challenge is really on the American side. Both had no survivors on the US side at the end of the game. I played the US side game against the AI and so it's possible to win, but against a human player ...
