  1. Thank you @JM Stuff and Bootie yes, these mods will follow the others made for FI and RT already present on CMMOD 4 (I am submitting the final and improved versions to Bootie compared to those posted on the forums). I still have to do 1 or 2 more German armored vehicles, and improvements before delivering the file to Bootie, towards the end of the month. New version of Marder II winter snowy and white (from BF.c txtures, 4 versions work on FI and RT) View: https://www.mediafire.com/view/u5b9n6ptbrpaj40/Marder_2.jpg/file Zip: https://www.mediafire.com/file/ldkwdhdho7a0tfn/Marder_II_winter.zip/file

  4. Sorry, my personal Mediafire page is no longer working properly. The photos are no longer displayed and I can't connect to my Mediafire account. I'm trying to resolve the issue.
  5. Brummbär mid winter (2 versions from BF.c), works with FI and RT. 7. Thank you for your interest, One drive was installed automatically with Windows 11, it is activated but not permanently connected. Last summer was the last time One Drive was connected to save documents to the Cloud. I haven't lost any other folders or files, and it hasn't happened again since. I scanned the security of my PC: it seems healthy, I have never had a virus or Trojan horse on this PC.
  8. Thank you The mods work for all titles . However, it is sometimes necessary to rename BMP files. All the elements contained in my file for FI posted on the Bootie site are compatible with FB, without the need to rename the files apart from those for Sherman 3. The 2 versions (Archer, Morris Bofor) that I posted are therefore also compatible with FI. The Crusader MK2 AA and the Challenger don't appear in winter in FI, that's why I didn't do them. My winter mods for German RT and FI vehicles are also compatible with FB (I will post updates to some of them soon). I use in FB all the winter mods already made, by other Umlaut, Aris and Kohlenklau, for FI, RT and FB. In these games almost all of my tanks in ground snow conditions have winter textures replacing the originals. I'm still missing about ten armored vehicles, Allied and German combined. I just realized that I had already made a version of the Sherman M4A2-75, and M4A1-76 from the original BF.C last December. I'll put them in the final file for Bootie.
  9. Bingo! Thank you very much @Frenchy56 and @Anonymous_Jonze The textures of the Sherman III are those of the Sherman III Early (There are 2 Sherman III, FB uses the III early with the tag "sherman III"). Sherman 3 mods in FB only work with Sherman M4A2-75 textures (no american Sherman M4A2-75 in the game ). So here is my 1st version of FI with the new tags, + 2 other versions, + the original Aris mod correctly tagged: View: https://www.mediafire.com/view/8jc3npom6i8je12/Sherman_3_DF_white.jpg/file Zip: https://www.mediafire.com/file/tj8ynbu5pkvccwj/Sherman_III-M4A2_75_DF.zip/file A bug about the Crusader MK 2 AA: its winter tracks are not named correctly [snoe] in the original BF.c file. I corrected that then I deleted my first link to my file, here is the new one: Zip: https://www.mediafire.com/file/stndh3n3wmu6p6e/Crusader_AA_snow_V2.zip/file
  10. thank you thank you I want to thank my mom without whom I would be nothing...
  11. 1st round finished! Thank you @BFCElvis for these 2 battles which will be written in the history books, I will observe a minute of silence on the graves of your men in Colleville-sur-Mer in Normandy, an American cemetery not far from my home.
  12. Hum... @MeatEtr, CMSF doesn't mean Combat Mission Science Fiction ...
  13. Oups! Erratum with Challenger Zip: https://www.mediafire.com/file/una84ycw6s3hp9r/Challenger_white.zip/file Ty Erwin Churchill only one version. Snow will come later...
  14. Winter textures of British vehicles complementing those made for FI, + a version 2 of the Archer and Morris bofor (my FI textures also work on FB). They are mostly based on the excellent work of Umlaut and Aris, the others are made from the BF.C originals. I'll put it all in a single file on Bootie's site when I've finished some American armored vehicles and made some improvements. (I'm having some difficulty with the Sherman 3, its winter textures are not loading into the game for the moment). 15. Sorry, I thought you read I am your opponent Yes I redeployed to the rear from the start. I thought you had seen the smoke screen to cover my retreat, and I feared that you would immediately launch after me. I didn't anticipate that you would find out so late that I was gone, you won't have much time left to take the last objective. My area is easier to defend because all access routes are exposed. I don't know if I made the right choice because the Germans have good firepower, however the panzerfaust will be ineffective if I manage to keep them at a good distance. For my part, playing the Germans, I don't think I can take the US rally zone, your right wing is holding up well and I'm running out of ammo. (I'm tempted to use the pronoun "he" instead of "I" like Julius Caesar in "The Gallic Wars" )
  16. Now you hear: Symphony n° MG 30 accompanied by the German choir singing "Mama! Bring mich nach Hause/Mom! Take me home"! (lawran in Matrix game)
  17. I imported the original Sherman V textures from BN, they are in the data brz file "normandy v210 market garden b".
  18. All my SF2 scenario files have disappeared from their folders (btt, cam, ema, bts). Folders installed for a long time are empty (Campaigns, Incoming Email, Outgoing Email, Quick Battle Maps, Saved Games, Scenarios). The game works ok (since 2021) but I have to reinstall SF2 to recover the original scenario files. Among my CM games, only SF2 is affected. I installed and activated Downfall recently. Any idea what caused this strange phenomenon?
  19. Hi Andrew, I didn't pay attention, I was a bit in automatic mode when receiving and sending the turns. I don't read the emails from Matrix either, the title is enough for me to know that I have to play my turn. I didn't know that it was possible to send private messages displayed in the game. If I understood correctly: your message should be displayed in the turn window with the password left empty? On this forum, I am notified by email as soon as I have a private message. From time to time I check my private messages on the Matrix forum, and my personal Matrix/Slitherine page. I also sent messages that remained unanswered to ghost players on these sites as well as to other players registered on the BF.c forum, where one of them replied to me, he didn't understand that it was necessary to send 2 turns/scenario (I post anything in the Matrix forums, BF.C, The few good men tournaments forum, and the old French forum Appui-Feu are enough for me). It was indeed useful to be able to communicate in this kind of case. For the next tournaments I will authorize the display of my email address, so if necessary my opponent can contact me by email as a last resort. I believe your email was displayed in the game in the window turn passwords. I usualy tell my opponents that they don't need to warn me in case of absence, only if they plan to give up or encounter a technical problem which will interrupt the game for an unknown period of time. I communicate by email regularly with my opponents to comment on the current game and make jokes. I understand that it would be good to shake up the players who are a little slow, and the ghost players, without talking about sanctions. It was a good idea from Matrix to send an email shortly before the end to motivate the players. We don't know the reasons and constraints encountered by other players. I think that the majority of players are professionally active, on the move, have a family and the younger ones are busy with their studies. I wonder if most players are automatically entered into tournaments by Matrix ... Some players are annoying by quitting the game midway because they're losing, but it's actually funny because it's regressive childish behavior. Seeing a serious, calm and responsible person in everyday life suddenly behave like a frustrated child is touching and funny. Sometimes I react like that, but i am not a serious person ... Thanks for our pbem on CW. As I already said elsewhere, it was really a great game full of suspense, tension, heroic or disastrous attacks on both sides, under the care of the god of luck Fortuna who changed sides with the wind. Homer, if he had witnessed this battle, would have written a second volume of the Iliad.
  20. The tournaments, I did all 3, are over Thanks to Slitherine/Matrix and BF.C for organizing these games. I liked most of the scenarios, in particular those of the 2nd and 3rd round were all excellent, I will go faster by pointing out the only one which frustrated me a little: RT 2nd round, the one where we had Tigers there where we were waiting for KingTigers, and I didn't know that the German had an exit zone. I had the chance to have opponents in all the scenarios, even if due to the slow rate of dispatch of some of them, we were not able to complete some battles (I play quickly because CM is the only game installed on my PC, the only one I bought, it's still a lot: 6 games). All my opponents were very good players, only one who was a little dizzy had forgotten his reinforcements at the bottom of the map in the last RT scenario. The battles were particularly difficult, and fought like a game of chess in the last 3 scenarios of the 3 games. I didn't have any unexpected behavior from the AI, except on BN where my last Panzer near the ruins of the bridge looked for its way in a disorderly and fatal movement. But what a battle my friends! Attacks and counter-attacks neither of us wanted to give up, it was epic My opponent on the last CW scenario was also particularly tough, suspenseful at every turn nervously exhausting. In RT I checked the rule: tanks attacking a fortified position must not be alone, infantry must precede them. My opponent lost all his T34s, thanks to the PanzerSchek/Faust (my Marder each took a T34 to their grave), while I only lost one T34 by a hit from the artillery. I was about to take all the objectives in both games but we exceeded the time limit while we had around ten turns left. Will all of these scenarios be available to everyone after the tournament ends? The excellent instructional videos from Usually Hapless, and the background articles from Mr. Mark Goddard published on the Matrix website, and relayed by Elvis, were very useful to me. I hope we get more.
  21. I don't know if it's normal that the last round, with the final blackboard of results, remains in the pbem progress folder for a few days, in fact it's not a round that I send, my opponent has already its results table. My last CW round with results has been on my file for a week, and currently my last BN round with results has been on my file for a day or 2.
  22. Game over, tough battle, thank you @Andrew Kulin for this epic and thrilling battle (lawran in the tournament). We achieved approximately the same results on both sides. Towards the end, we took huge risks with big losses, of my 3 tanks launched to attack an objective during the last turn, only one survived, and if the game had lasted one more turn it would also have joined the tank cemetery. However, I will send you an injunction from the international tribunal for war crimes: article 23 of the regulations concerning the laws and customs of war on land (The Hague/ La Haye, July 29, 1899 -1907): "it is prohibited to use unduly military insignia and uniform of the enemy. The Hague court will certainly follow my recommendations and sentence you to 20 years of ban from playing CMCW.
