BRDM-2 texture problem and other stuff
Sophist_13 replied to Sophist_13's topic in Combat Mission Black Sea
Nope, i removed Z folder. https://ibb.co/s5cDLsZ -
Game Engine 4, without mods, 2.13 patch. BRDM-2 has got a black turret. BRDM-2M and BRDM-2 (ATGM) is ok. https://ibb.co/5RjFx2M So, even the last patch didn't fix UKR Kitolov-2M HE (2S1) and Gran HE (2B11): https://ibb.co/3mf3GzC https://ibb.co/WVr6vV7 How many time devs need to fix UKR 2S1 and 2B11? Maybe i dramatize, but i believe I had seen this bugs when the game had come out. P.S. Thanks for valid RPO and 9К123.

This "overwhelming force" is "unuseful and overmuch crowd". When you fight yanki on the small map it is trouble to protect unuseful reserves; one forward observer team could make you more casualties just by Paladin or M777. It;s more preferable if only a one RTG will attack supported by engineers and recons. They had major of casualties as assault teams had been built of recons+engineers+1 motostrelki platoon. -

Replayed first russian campaign after several years; in the last mission russian commander need only single Co. Tactical Group to accomplish the task, 2 RTG are overmuch. -
We already have very lots of different platforms - T-72, T-80 and T-90; BMP-2\3, BTR-80\82; BMD-2, BMD-3, BMD-4 and BMD-4M, BTR-D, Rakushka, a multitude of light wheeled vehicles such as Gaz Tigh, UAZ, Kamaz and so on. Soviet Union had real nightmare - three MBT and so on. But until the end of 1980th US had the same problem - M48, M60 and M1, for example. New toys come and old toys stay on in servise. About economy. We ourselves produce the whole set of military units (MBT, APC, AFV, artillery, helicopters, jets, missiles, satellites, military high-tech and so on) and if Saudi have to pay dollars to buy military equipment, then we have national currency. In many ways our tanks, BMP, Su or Migs and other toys are cheaper that western ones only because our engineers ans workers have wages, which are lower than western ones (miracles don't happen!). I mean that it would be more reasonable to account military budgets based on purchasing power parity. Take to account that russian economy are not real market economy. Therefore it is very hard to forecast the real capabilities of russian MoD. For instance in the Soviet Union we had very complex finance system, which used non-cash currency (units of account) and common rouble, and they didn't cross; that's why it is impossible to account real soviet military budget.

The origin of this 'news' is regional news site https://kikonline.ru/2017/08/09/kogda-re****sya-sudba-kmz/ Give attention to the moment that those words about K-25 were said by the former deputy of chief engineer-specialist of mass production. From the beginning some old specialists and engineers didn't like the concepts of new armored platforms, some had another projects and concepts and they had been out of the work. Actually it is just his personally opinion, which was sounded during the meeting of veterans of industry on the problem of KMZ. There isn't official info about the cancellation of Kurganets-25. And some recent news about KMZ and K-25 - http://www.militarynews.ru/story.asp?rid=1&nid=458749 It seems to be an internal quarrel in our military industry as we had it in 2008-2011. At this moment our leaders are conducting some strange changes concerning state corporations (RosTec for instance) in the field of military industry. And we have very weird situation about KMZ, RosTec and CTP, the problem of managment... All it looks as if they'd plan to form real industry monster (on the base of RosTec). Some awared of this problem persons say that K-25 is OK, but It is very hard for me to give you clear information.

I think that the russians and the ukrainians should have MTLBM with AGS, MTLBM with NSVT\Kord, both sides use it.- 236 replies

I know about it) But we have fictional storyline, all sides prepared to fight and it would be logical if Ukraine might use Kvitnik with 2S3M as well as 2S19. And I think, BF must give us the option of ammo for support.- 236 replies

Yea, no more than 6 passangers in fighting compartment, but it would be better than old BMP-1\2. And 15-20 BMP-1U were used in Russian-Gergian War (2008). First photo - georgian BMP-1U captured by RUArmy.- 236 replies

You should ask BMP-1U, about 20-30 BMP-1U were used by Georgia in 2008. UkrArmy got about 10-12 BMP-1U. Unfortunately, now they are being saved as far as possible from war. From point of view of fictional storyline, It'd be reasonably to upgrade some BMP-1. This IFV was involved in 2008-war, so i think it would be logical to add BMP-1U in the game. P.S. I have a question. Why does the ukrainian 2S1 have russian ''Kitolov''?- 236 replies

Russians Underpowered, US Overpowered in CMBS?
Sophist_13 replied to Douglas Mac's topic in Combat Mission Black Sea
Oh, i waited this question. If you ask about APS, Shtora and ERA, so, i'm sure you may explain why any objections about M1A2 SEP X and other funny toys are rejected. I want to say, that i don't use T-90AM, BMP-2M, BMP-3\3M with APS\ERA\Shtora because i like historical real weapon. T-72B3 and BTR-82A are my favourite units, sometimes i form heavy company with BMP-3 or BMP-3M and T-90A. I hate T-90AM, XM-25, BRM-3K, M1A2 SEP X and etc. I don't mind of them existing in the game, i just want to have a choise. I might use the same logic and i could say that we are able to add Arena, Shtora (T-90A use it, we have Shtora in service, and i don't understand why it is a problem - to hang Shtora on BMP-3M) and ERA to BMP-3M only because we want to do it. If such arguments are normal for M1A2, why the same arguments aren't normal for BMP-3M? Is it unfair? Yes, it is unfair and for M1A2 SEP X, and for BMP-3M. The choise - what i want to buy and what i don't - might solve this problem, all this theme might be solved thanks to just patch.
