It is worthy to mention this post

The issue of controversy remains unchanged since the introduction of the AH. The Ka-52 (or replace it with AH-1) is not likely to survive long in a strike mission over enemy-controlled territory due to the threat of MANPADS (or HMG and autocannon in the case of AH-1).
However, with a carefully prepared flight plan and by loitering around friendly-controlled zones in close coordination with ground forces, the Ka-52 (or AH-1) can take a keyhole position to overwatch the road that the attacking force must pass through, making it a formidable tank destroyer.
To counter this threat, Ukraine needs to target Russia's airfields and FARPs.
When the Ka-52s are in an ambush position, things can become more complex, particularly in terms of detection. Ukraine lacks AEW assets, but quadcopters equipped with thermal imaging capabilities could be helpful. Additionally, adopting a good CM gameplay tactics would be beneficial. put yourself in the shoes of the Russians, think where you would position your Ka-52.
If the airborne Ka-52 threat is detected, fire artillery, airburst artillery rounds and ICM should pose a significant threat to the Ka-52.
While it may not be confirmed if it is possible, utilizing FPV kamikaze drones could be fatal to a hovering Ka-52. It might be worth considering deploying a few FPV kamikaze drones to patrol the areas that have been identified as potential ambush sites.

Interesting situation in Pyatykhatky... Several hours ago Russian milblogger claimed small number of UKR troops still hold several houses in western part of village (yesterday they told about one tank and one BMP with assault group), but Russian command is doing nothing to push them off there! Only artilelry works on UKR positions. He says if nothing change and UKR brimg more reinforcements, they will be forced to abandon this village
Russians havn't any free reserves to deal with less platoon-size unit %)

UKR troops, repelling desperate Russian counter-attacks on Makarivka could expand zone of control to the east from the village toward Novodonetske
Also UKR troops after two days of fierce fighting, according to reports of Russian milbloggers could enter to Pyatykhatky village on western Zaporozhian front. There are rumors that UKR forces seized the village and attacking on neighbour Zherebyache, but it's not confirmed yet. Reportedly Russians transferred to this area units of 34th motor-rifle brigade of 49th CAA, withdrew them from Kherson oblast.

On the one of front sections 47th brigade fights against 1430th motor-rifle regiment of Territorial troops. After one of clashes UKR soldiers hve taken a prisoner - wounded mobik from Moscow. He told he from third company, the company had 120 men, but after the fight at least half were killed or wounded. One man, who watch in thermal camera was teared apart by direct hit from Bradley gun. When they no more could stand and run he was hit in the leg. He told they spent many time in tree-plants, the command continuosly regroup them. They hadn't normal houshold conditions during months, couldn's wash themselves and their uniform properly. Their commanders don't go into the fight with them.

I can imagine that they are rotating units. 47th MechBrig was in 1st line since 5th of June. I guess they are given some well deserved rest as Divisional Reserve now.

Paywalled article about two Leopard 2A6 crews:

    Some interesting points:
it's his third tank for the gunner his first tank was destroyed near Melitopol in '22. He walked 1.5 kilometers, found an abandoned tank and drove it home! They haven't met Russian tanks, yet mainly infantry support 3 Leos hit mines in the first day at Zaporizhia: one lost, one could drive back on itself and one is immobilized and could not be recovered because it is blocked by a destroyed Bradley (that seems to be the one from that incident) Apart from Kalashnikovs there is hardly any non-western equipment at Zaporizhia They have high losses (compared to the time before) 2 tanks may have been captured by the Russians

Here's something I think is worth looking into. It is indirectly corroborated by Mashovets but still it is not a very trusted source.
It is supposed to be quotes from RU officers regarding that Putin meeting with RU unofficial propagandists. I took only relevant to us part

    UKR Mashovets post 17 June

    second post
Discussion: It appears that the UKR tactic is to make a shallow push (creating a major threat), attract RU reserves, smash them with arty, make another shallow push widening the problematic spot, attract more RU reserves, smash them with arty, rinse and repeat until RU defenses start crumbling somewhere.
In other words, RU expected that UKR would attempt rapid deep penetration and, as a result, would be forced to fight on RU terms - deep within the RU defensive belt outside of the arty and AA umbrellas against undamaged RU reserves and RU aviation. Essentially, RU was prepared to counter the Kharkiv scenario. However, these vile untermesh khokhols thwarted RU plans by conducting shallow penetrations with minor troops to fight RU reserves under UKR terms - under arty and AA cover. Best example of the Enemy gets a vote.
The best part is, I don't think RU is aware of what's going on. I looked at the mood of the RU Nats, and it is the same:

Short summary of UKR Kovalenko (colleague of Mashovets) post about RU forces at South direction
I would like to add that UKR do not have a particular need to rush. All they really need is not to lose it in one evening and keep enough pressure. Eventually at some point somewhere RU are going to crumble.
