Great stuff, Bud.

Enjoyed the original so will try this. Am curious what the "Another Road to Wiltz" is like.
Without giving too much away. A two-hour battle on a larger map. Also, if you play as the Germans, you get some US equipment to play with. So I would say, similar enough to the original for for fans of the first one to enjoy, and different enough to make it interesting in it's own right.

There is also a second battle entitled "Another Road to Wiltz", sadly I can't remember the author, but it should be on Booties website.
-
I really enjoyed this.

It depends on what level you are playing. For example, on "Iron" if you click on an individual unit you will only have a solid contact icon for the friendly units it can see.
It is something you can experiment with, tanks even if buttoned down will be able to keep sight of units behind for a certain amount of time via the cupola. infantry teams, squads etc will be able to see a certain distance behind them before losing contact.

Perhaps a screen shot showing the Mortar Section HQ's UI will help people who would be able to offer advice.

Sadly, the problem with the building type in the picture was never fixed. And they even crop up in Final Blitzkrieg.

"And at number one, it's Combat Mission. Not 'alf, pop pickers" ...

This seems very strange. I've never seen any US troops trying to flee the map. I've played it three times, and scored three Totals. When you say "failed", what was the actual result?

With CM videos that look like they were filmed in Europe rather than on the purple planet getting rarer, this is a welcome addition.

Ah, Royal Enfield, where Lizzie Saxe - Coburg und Gotha keeps her chickens.

Another great watch.

There is no need for you to fear anything as CM will look exactly like how the individual players pleases to setup their graphics.
Look I know that you follow me around with your banter because I can imagine that you´ve by now noticed that you got banned from commenting on my Youtube channel for multiple rude and almost identical spam-like comments and now look for a way to air your steam. Perhaps it helps to settle this when I let you know that I am absolutely not interested in your opinion about my things, won´t change my decision, and whatsoever want the least have to do with you. Furthermore it would be also utmost pleasing if you stop stalking my place and simply spent your time elsewhere with something that suits your preference. Despite this I have nothing to discuss with you and do not wish you derail that thread for this further.
Oh dear, someone can't accept honest criticism. As for being banned from your yt channel, NO, I didn't know that I had been. I no longer bother watching because you insist on making the game look so ugly, for some strange reason..
Stay safe.

I'm hoping that not everything will be a strange shade of pink in Fire and Rubble.

well, now you've ruined it for m, ha ha!
Wellington accused the Dutch Royal Family of doing much the same thing when they built the Lion Mound.

Oh, it's very Anglo-biased. But the battle! On the actual Waterloo fields/hills, with thousands of extras in uniform. That's what I liked. Hougomont (sp?), La Haye Saint, right there on the screen,
It was filmed in Ukraine, albeit a stunningly landscaped part, courtesy of the Red Army.

personal protection,
However if a grenade lands right between the legs of an enemy, sure it would be safe to assume that this guy would have a bad time.
I would appear that in this case the "personal protection", came in the form of armoured underpants.

@General Jack Ripper You're right about the 105's seeming a bit small. I did have a lot of fun with the M2 GMC's 155mm in the Aachen campaign, so I'd like to have a go at blasting Berlin with some big beasts.

(ie US, China, maybe EEC)
Just two minor points.
1. The EEC wasn't a "major nation" or any kind of nation for that matter.
2. The EEC ceased to exist in 1993.
Perhaps we are best sticking to Red Thunder.

you'd be amazed to learn what you can do with a potatoe, or more over, what someone would do for said potatoe.

Are you a member of the Dan Quayle Fan Club?

Cheddar Parish Council have asked me to say publicly that anymore of the above, and they will be seeking UN support against the usurpers of their good name.

They are not needed at all. Because even concrete bunkers in this game get knocked out by a couple of 75mm HE shells. No need for big guns.
Without straying too far from the OP. I find the effectiveness of 75mm HE varies from title to title, and perhaps that is historically accurate.
In the meantime I think that @Haiduk has provided more than enough evidence that the Russians used their "big guns" for more than just propaganda purposes.

Or, that I'm rubbish at the game.
