  1. My old man experienced eye already sees the issue but give me a holler when you have exploded a brz file. That is the point of this. To help you see it is not very hard and you can get INTO the files. IT IS A FILE IMPROPERLY NAMED. A TYPO!
  2. Here is a link to another thread where I had listed everything out just as the new module Fire & Rubble came out. It is a few years old so might be slightly changed by patches renumbering files. I guess we will find out quick.
  3. No apology needed. Just having fun! Welcome here and we I think are a good welcoming group. We can take a nice and slow. Step 1 is to learn how to use REZEXPLODE to open the brz file that has the building roof bmp files. You have the main folder where the game resides? Go there and you should see a folder called Mod Tools. Open that up. In there you see another folder called RezExplode. Copy a brz to that input folder and then right click on the utility icon and run as administrator. Normally you must hunt down the proper brz but we have done this already so I think we can cut to the chase and get you the right brz to copy to input. Hold on! I have all this somewhere.
  4. Your thread title gets the award for longest thread title! The answer is yes and yes. So, if you want to learn how to try and correct this yourself, I can walk you through it. Edit: If yes, you can summon me back here by using the @ symbol next to my username (in case you were unaware).
  5. The book arrived ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So, it seems that the axis force is composed of infantry with LMG's, with some pioneer support using a flamethrower, backed up by just machine-gun armed vehicles, wheeled or maybe tracked. Later in the battle some 2cm cannon armed vehicles join in. I will roll with that!
  6. CMRT new patch 2.13...I think it just took away the capability to purchase a German flamethrower team in the scenario editor. I definitely had that ability before. EDIT: I can only purchase the FT team in Luftwaffe airborne infantry. Before it was regular German infantry could... BFC patch is like a guy brings new topping item to the salad bar but then everybody sees they accidentally stop bringing tomatoes or whatever.
  7. The winner is announced! Mr E.R. Bradshaw of Napier Court, Black Lion Road LONDON SE14. Mr. Bradshaw wins a year's supply of Whizzo Butter
  8. yes, I agree. It is already on the "to do list" and I will try my best
  9. @WimO Hi Wim, I PM'd you with a dropbox link. I propose this is my assigned weekend to buckle down and complete this Horsa project for you - if you have time to test stuff and give feedback. Thank you sir.
  10. An extra prize for anybody who knows how to tap into those "strength returns" or "strength reports" where they say, 48 of X are operational, 3 in the shop.
  11. This is a 2-edged sword. You want to try and be accurate but there also can be an element of "add this toy!" My buddy will play me PBEM in this scenario here on the forums in a few weeks. He says the half-tracks should not be there BUT they would be cool to use. hahaha I am thinking to delete those two 251's and change to trucks with towed 37mm ATG and towed 75mm IG. Kradshutzen? We aint got no kradschutzen! We don't need no kradshutzen! I don't have to show you any stinkin' kradshutzen!
  12. Here is Niehorster's page for that division at that APPROXIMATE time. http://niehorster.org/011_germany/39_organ_army/39_pz-01.html
  13. A fun contest. Anybody want to enter this contest? The "prize" is to be determined. Help me design the kampfgruppe to attack a small BEF infantry force at Les Attaques on 23 May 1940. It was the 1st Panzer Division. I am using CMRT with the F&R module. Because I want the BEF to have anti-tank rifles. Right now it looks like this... I have 50mm mortars and LMG34's.
  14. I have downloaded my aerial recon photo! But per my license, I am not allowed to show it electronically. If you visit me, you can see it on my screen I guess. Not a lot has changed. It will be very useful in making the CM map.
  15. I always first ask if you might have smoke turned off visually? What is that? Alt-K? Forgive me if you say, of course not! Is it that the purple pop smoke button is not there for certain teams/squads or you press it and nothing happens? Do you see smoke rounds available in a tank? Wow, what a hassle. Everybody is anti-smoking nowadays, but this is ridiculous!
  16. I have it sir! Juju made it for me under commission you might say. EDIT: PM sent with dropbox link...
  17. I will soon be the proud owner of an RAF aerial recon photo from May 1940. Should I put it in a frame by my bedside? The scenario presses nicely forward. The book "The Flames of Calais" should be here Monday. It has about 8 pages describing this action. I will examine every word. Meanwhile, my German aufklarungs gruppe takes shape from my imagination.
  18. For the dirty half-dozen who follow my half-baked efforts, I report that I just had a damn fun time acting out the "Green Jacket's Bridge" scenario using CMRT. I played it hot seat versus myself. It had an awesome BEF1940 vibe to it. A few Russian voices leaked in and I figured out that I have that Red Orchestra R.O. enhanced Russian voice pack in my z. I had moved it up front in my z thinking it would be overwritten as my bef1940 mod loaded but I guess R.O. probably has more file numbers. Lesson learned. I again used an "SMG filter" exit zone to drain off my SMG's from the Allied side. I think I ended up with just one Thompson SMG on the allied OOB held by the Troop Commander 2nd Lieutenant Barr. Uhhh, let's see. The officer won it in a poker game? Uhhh, he found it at the loading dock at Lester-sheister-sister-shire? Some semi-plausible reason. The Brens were firing away and a Vickers as well. The 2 Boys and Girls ATR's didn't nail any of the German AFV's in my test. The 2" mortars were firing away nicely. I will continue with the mods associated with this project and also continue polishing the scenario. Maybe next is a play against a buddy in PBEM. If I ever do an AI plan it would just be for the German attack I guess. I have asked for a quote from the UK air recon website out of Edinburgh for an aerial photo from May of 1940 that covers Les Attaques. My current CM map is based on GE google earth and old photos and just looking in GE to see what looks newer and would not be there in 1940. I also found a cheap used book about the battle. It is on the way. The guy who wrote it survived the battle but was assassinated by the IRA years later. Not a political comment, just a sad fact.
  19. The AI can see that the windows were open on both sides of the building and the shell went right through the living room, hall and bedroom?
  20. As usual, I have a few irons in the fire. I am really enjoying trying to create this scenario. I also want to model a 2 pounder one of these days...
