Yep, would have been good if you had specified any of the special effect you would like to see

Yeah. It does get old. I go to my PBEM folder and get rid of old ones all the time. they tend to take up massive amounts of space eventually too..
get H2HH and you don't have to worry about the old pbem files anymore
And noticed that you're from Boston, MA. Dropkick Murphys is the best

Whhich lads? I'm playing that right now and i've got 2 4 man teams so far...
-
No not really, remember though that whoever is calling in the air support is also giving info about potential targets.
I actually don't have a clue what that's supposed to mean
-
Sorry, but there is so much things to add/fix/look at, that when I read someone shouting "Fix this or do something!!" about something like that, I'm getting nervous ;P
I guess I should have added those compulsory smileys into the comment as well ...
-
Does anybody know who that guy is?
-
Seems to be that they are wrong way in the game! Fix this or do somefink!!

I'm playing the same scenario and I took one panther out with first shot from about 800m

I just tried to start it against WEGO AI and works well. But interesting to hear that someone else is having problems with this as well... Have never faced problems like this with any version...
-
Has anyone else played this scenario either PBEM or against AI? I'm trying to play it by PBEM but the game crashes every time on the first turn when we try to process the turn. We have tried to start the game both ways and it crashes with both hosts

Has anybody at the BFC or community tried the CMBN with the Windows 8? Does it work without problems?
-
It became an Allied symbol for the invasion, guess it was for making recognition much easier, specially from the air.
Kinda like all fighters and fighter/bomber had the D-day black/white stripe on them.
I have probably seen lots of photos of them but never paid any attention to it. Now checked the Churchills and Cromwells in the scenario editor and was a bit surprised to see them.

I didn't know that the British tanks were also marked with the same star as the US armor.
-
Do you have a correct time period chosen? Is it available june, july and august or just some of them?
-
Setup a new screenie thread for CW shots and post them soon!
-
...within the next 36 hoursDamn, was hoping to get it within an hour or two...
-
If I preorder it now, can I also dl it right away?
-
Ok guys, download it quickly so the rest of us can get it also

I have only a passing knowledge of WWII history, and I was wondering what on earth would be included in the 'Market Garden' module that isn't already in CMBN once the CW module is released?
As far as I can recall Market Garden forces included:
Polish paratroopers (CW module?),
British paratroopers (CW),
XXX Corps (Base + CW),
US infantry & engineers (Base),
Waffen SS (CW),
Hitler Youth (??),
Regular German units (CW),
Artillery assets for both sides (Base +CW)
Am I missing something? Perhaps someone with a better understanding of the operation could enlighten me?
Or perhaps the next module will just include new missions and campaigns?
At least German paratroops will be in the Market Garden. Lufwaffe units in CW are only field division units

Blah, no release so far today and they won't release it on Friday so it will go until next week...
-
I'd make a small bet that a scenario of this event is included in the CW module!
-
Congratulations! Well deserved victory! Today would be the perfect time to release the 2012 award winning module!

Found quite interesting line in the manual:
"British.... managed to keep their tank units based around one specific type and variant... Players are restricted from mixing tanks of different types within a single formation in the game".
Does this mean that in the QB's I can't buy an infantry company and attach for example a Firefly, couple of Churchills and a Cromwell into that unit? If I want fireflys into the game they are only type of tank which I can buy into that particular battle?
If that's the case it sounds quite restrictive but if it is historically how it, then be it so.
Or does it just mean that when I buy a whole platoon (or bigger unit) of tanks all of them has to be same type?

Hmm, no info on any new or changed features to the game. Not looking good for the inclusion of the armored arc command.
I think it has been stated several times that the UI is not going to be changed and therefore no armored arc. Prolly wont be until Bulge if even there. I have managed to play very well without it so far and even it would be a good improvement, it's no biggie if it's not here
Any scenarios with Cromwells?
