I shall withold myself from being repetitive. The most historically correct answer to your question is that provided by PZKPFW 1. No, the Allies did not have a comparabe tank as in armor protection & firepower. By this I mean although the Allies had tank guns, ie, the 17lb that could penetrate the Tiger II, under certian conditons, ie, turret penetrations, whereas no Allied tanks armor was proof vs the 88/L71. The IS-3 was the only Allied tank, that had armor, specificly designed to defeat the 88/L71. As to the Ardennes i dont think gas was the reason for the German defeat, as the whole plan was unrealistic. The Germans just didn't have the resources, manpower, nor material to accomplish any more then they did. Notiwthstanding the fact that the quality of the iron ore used for the manufacture of any armoured vehicle by the Germans between 1944 and 1945 was inferior, it was still hard to penetrate the KT from the side unless you are a few meters away. And there weren't so many similar occasions. So to say that history relates this instance as happeneing 'mostly' is incorrect. Many of the stories related by Allied Soldiers on how they knocked out KT even at point blank range have been proved wrong ...to say the least and I can quote a few of them given more time. On the other hand it is true that many of the KT were destroyed by thier crews due to mechanical failure, failing logistical support etc etc. The KT was exrtremely powerful for its time, and although the IS 2 (Iosif Stalin Tank) was technically as powerful and even had a 100mm Gun - its slow and medieval loading system was too time consuming and thus - for this reason it was, as well, no match for the KT on the Battlefield. May I please highlight that the IS3 ( the Shuka) did not see action against the Germans. It was - for its day and age, a magnificent beast.....and still impressive to see even today.

HO HO WAIT THERE...... We have been asking for the whereabouts of Aris for weeks now .....as far as I recoillect we do not know where he is at. ARIS HAS CONTRIBUTED IMMENSELY TO CMBN and I certainly would not upgrade my game (although I will still buy the new engine upgrade just in case) unless either Aris is around to update his mods or unless Battlefront's Models would look better ...although I doubt if that is possible since in this field, Aris is certainly an incredible artist, and a kind one too I do not know were he is gone, although as far as I know he is from Spain and thus lives in the Mediterranean as I do. And the Mediterranean definately gives you AWSOME alternatives to gaming .....especially in the summer if you get what I mean One should also consider that Spain beat the hell out of the Italians in the European Cup final so I bet he partied hard as well. So considering the above, he is either still suffering from a hangover, or ... still partying, which is cool considering the hard work he did to improve the game expecting nothing else from us but a kind thanks So pls note...we are saddened by the fact that he is missing and we are hoping that nothing bad happened to him and we hope that he is enjoying the summer like the rest of us. I attempted to play modern warfare games - but for some reason they never really impressed me or got me hooked. On the other hand - 2nd World War games just get me carried away - i don't know the reason why - but for some reason - I jest get overwhelmed leading the shermans or the panzers And wohoooo am I waiting for the eastern front

Its been quite some time since Aris made a post on this forum, this is indeed very worrying. I would certainly not udate my engine of CMBN unless it works perfectly with the ARIS Mods.

After reading all this I have to give thanks to BF for filling us in with the details regarding this issue. It would be also be fair to say that, for the first time, BF has responded extensively to my critique which I truly and wholeheartedly appreciate consider how much I like Combat Mission. I appreciate the hard work you are putting in this Game and knowing that Version 3 would rectify this problem is enouph for me - infact, just knowing its one of your priorities is enouph - you have always delivered when you said so Hoping that it should not pose any incoveniance, may I ask why would some mods work fine and others will not taking into example the mods made by Aris - since I am a keen follower of his mods ?

I do not think that its your videocard. I have to very good video cards in my PC and I notice this as well on my PC. I hope BF fixes this matter - it would be greatif they do Thanks for your patience and your reviews, really appreciated. This addon should be awsome

Should one notice, the road stops being rendered and all detail is also not rendered in the areas I have circled. This can be seen on most of the pictures presented and is also very noticeable when playing the game. Another example, take a close look at the pictures kindly presented by Hardenbereger above, road on the right (in the 4th Picture) is also not rendered and detail of the fields at the background is also not being rendered

@gunnersman I am in line since I refrain from insulting others and, as always, my language is always calm and my arguments based on facts. I can't understand why certain people find it difficult to accept criticism. Critisicm is healthy, it helps the evolvement of the game when its factual and fair. What I have stated are facts which are there to see by one and all. Let me highlight something - I love this game as much as everyone else here - and I will do my utmost to point out the most annoying bugs which I notice in order to ameliorate this game until it reaches maximum awsomeness Thanks to all

In order to explain myself better, what I precisely meant by 'ignoring' is the fact that on many occasions players voice their critiques on this forum and Battlefront refrains from replying. Whilst I agree that the non functioning of CrossfireX might be a non issue for BF, the primary point which I am highlighting, that of having the Graphics Engine unable to draw most of the scene presented on the screen, should be of major concern to everyone especially BF
