Hello, that's what I run it on, and I never had a problem. -

Well said Dragotin. They do tend too shift the blame. -

I saw "steel box". I would have noticed "steelbook" because I wouldn't know what that was. This was at the very beginning of preorder, if it was changed later,of course I would not have noticed. Or I just saw what I wanted to see. -

Will you read my post more carefully before you make a dumb comment. I never called it fraud.I'm not even upset, just telling it like it is. -

How do you tell from a video picture? It could be paper mache, shiny plastic, tin, or anything else in a picture! They used the word "Steel", not me. -

Leadmeister is right. I won't go as far as calling it fraud, but it definitely was misleading advertising. It's like having one microgram of gold in a coin, and calling it a "gold coin". Who had the brilliant idea of putting tiny tan letters on tan pages? The game itself is fine, but this sort of stuff will keep me away from future preorders and taking their word for anything. -
A Thankyou to..

Homeland was OK until my government used it for their latest gestapo..err, police force. But I guess Homeland security sounds better than Fatherland security! Sorry, I didn't mean to turn political, or hijack the thread. I just was curious how some countries are referred too in the "feminine" while others are "masculine". -

Why are some "fatherlands" and others "motherlands"? -
I have only played the AI so all I can say is the allied AI could sure use the fortresses, but a German AI will not be able to face them. Now I would assume a human can make much better use of the existing terrain. Too bad we can't have the forts in for a computer controlled France, and out for a computer controlled Germany.

I don't know if anything should be adjusted at all. This is just my opinion but I can see many reasons why industry could be delayed in real life, for months or even years. There could be "red tape", labor problems, factory conversions, raw materials, tranport new equipment, etc. No one in real life can guarantee that with x amount of money, they can get an arms factory up by some deadline, unless the deadline is extremely long. Delays always happen. I've had games both ways,Sometimes I drop a chit in some research and the next turn it advances, other times I wait years! It's all part of the game! Such is war.

Great thread, I have had every single one of these things happen to me! -
Try turning the trees off. You can see the breaks much easier.

Buying both was the only option for me. I won't go into which is better, that is ridiculous. They are both good and well worth the money.

Ok, now I got it. Unspotted is the point I missed, Thanks. I feel your original idea is best, The turkish navy should stay off the map till war is declared. That is probably the easiest solution. -
disapointing morning......
